I usually stay at another brand of hotels but the cost was particularly high on this specific day so I booked this one at a more reasonable price. It is a “motel” style that I typically avoid so I was a bit nervous. I had no reason to be. Nice area away from downtown, amazing restaurant on site with a terrific patio, great breakfast. We did not use the pool but it is huge. The gym rivals actual gyms that require a membership. I have never seen a gym like this at any hotel. The staff were all very friendly and it is dog friendly. We were travelling with our dog so this was a must. We parked steps away from our room so loading and unloading was so much faster. We had 2 double beds and queens would have been better but it was not a big deal and overall we were pleasantly surprised by this place and we would definitely stay again

Thank you so much for the surprise upgrade to a suite! Very nice hotel and restaurant (we had the bison burger which was very good + 1/2 price bottle of wine as it was Wednesday) :) To top it off, full service breakfast was included the next morning. Thanks Again for everything!

This hotel was not bad, the only downside is that the washroom was not spacious. I loved the food they have at the menu. Although I didn’t swim in the swimming pool, it looked really clean. In my opinion, this hotel was nice, clean, and comfortable. I would recommened!

It was a lovely setting behind the hotel, very nice pool.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and building was clean and well maintained. The breafast was very nice and the staff were extremely nice even though the dining room was full and service was excellent The parking was plentiful and had wide spots to accommodate trucks.

Very great stay! Such a beautiful property! I had my dog and daughter and they lived it! Such easy access and comfortable beds! Very clean and friendly

This was a great hotel. A little outside of thunder Bay, but well worth the stay at the base of the mountains. Our room was large and clean. Enjoyed the access to the outside through a patio door. Would definitely stay here again.

This was an impressive hotel. We were there on a weekend when a wedding was held at the facility. The hotel was very full. That being said, our check in was fast, It was very quiet at night. It has a free breakfast but unlike most hotel free breakfasts which are barely palatable, this is at a restaurant where you order off a menu, it’s brought to you by a waitress and actually delicious! The view of the hills in the background was spectacular. There is a fun roadhouse restaurant across the street that is excellent. This was one of favorite stays while on our circle tour of Lake Superior.
