Nice choice for one night stay

Very nice little lodge accessible to walking downtown Durango. Loved the lodge and the area!

Had a balcony where we could sit outside to eat while watching the sun rise and sun sets

The accommodation are very good

Durango Lodge was a perfect place for us to stay. Room big enough for 6 people. The train is just a few steps away as was shopping and dining options. Our room was clean and the staff were friendly. The breakfast options were minimal, but this definitely would not deter me from staying here. I was able to get some cereal, yogurt, and a breakfast bar. That's all we needed but I think some guest were expecting hot options.

We loved being downtown Durango. The convenience was fantastic. The room was nice, clean, and the staff were very helpful. If there was a down side, I am 6’5” 285 lbs. the shower was a little tight for me. But that was a minor issue.

Room was very clean with lots of little extras. Location was perfect for in town stay. Walk to shops and restaurants. The pool was nice for a dip in the afternoon.

This property is dated. It is old and dingy and not my idea of a vacation. We had no choice to stay as we had prepaid. We asked for daily room service as it was only available upon request. We did not receive it. Parking was a big hassle as there were more rooms than parking spaces. Due to the age of the hotel every noise by the neighboring guests or the ones in the floor above us could be heard. The only reason I chose this property was because it had an outdoor pool. We did not get to make it out to the pool but it was a small pool with no amenities ie food or bar service. Durango was fun, this hotel is a big No.

We didn't move the car once. Everything we did was close enough to walk. It was a very pleasant stay. The staff was great. Thank you.

Great downtown location.

Very clean and comfortable room right in town, with easy walking to shops and restaurants.

Everything about this place is cheap except the price. First the awful smell hits you. Then you find paper thin towels that they ration like precious metals. The bed is not comfortable. The staff is unfriendly and sullen. They get credit for being responsive to replace the broken pop up drain. We discovered that when we were up to our ankles in water during showers on the first morning. The only thing we can recommend about this awful place is the location. Plenty of other lodging options in Durango. Pick one of those.
