Such a hidden gem! Spotless, great location and excellent customer service!

Craig (owner) was most welcoming. The property is very well located close to the main shopping area, and the river foreshore. Rooms are big and kitted out with tea and coffee making as well as a toaster and microwave oven, and crockery and cutlery. It was good to have a table and comfy chairs to sit at, rather than sitting on the bed. Bathroom is modern and equipped with heat lamps which is a very nice touch on cold mornings. All up, an excellent property. We would stay here again.

This was one of the best accommodation experiences we have had on our Tassie holiday

Unfortunately had a noisy bar fridge in the single delux room so detracted from a good night's sleep. The area was quiet and 15 min walk to supermarkets. Good for an overnight stay after disembarking from ferry. Staff accommodated our late arrival which was appreciated and communication was good.

This was our second time staying at the Barclay Motor Inn. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Handy to The Spirit of Australia terminal and restaurants for dinner. Very clean rooms and great linen!

Although this property is a little dated on the exterior, my room had modern furnishings and appliances and was very comfortable. Excellent location a short walk to city centre and the coastal path, very quiet at night. Definitely recommended.

Convenient location and close to foreshore walk. Bathroom was new and worked well
