Unfortunately I was totally unaware of where I was booking and booking done in a rush. When we arrived we found the motel was just off a very busy main road with some big hospitals near by consequently the sounds of ambulances seem to be constant. They do say on their page that there is traffic which I had overlooked. That being said the owners of the motel bent over backwards even saying that we were welcomed to look elsewhere since we hadn’t paid. In the end we took a room in the furthest back corner from the main road and to be honest once we shut the door we didn’t hear a thing and slept soundly throughout the night. We had a very comfortable stay. Mary-anne & Michael are excellent owners & hosts who operate an older, but well maintained and very clean motel. Parking at the door, laundry facilities available, handy location in North Brisbane. Microwave, toaster & jug and good amount of bench space to open suitcases, hanging space, ceiling fan, good flexible shower fitting, tiled flooring and the softest towels. We will be staying again.

Our room had just been done up so was lovely and fresh and clean but the lighting in the ensuite was very poor as was the lighting over the bed.

Friendly seamless service at check in. The room was recently renovated and was clean, spacious and had excellent areas for suitcases and hanging clothes. Really good value. Not in Brisbane often but will be my first choice to stay.
