A lovely historic hotel that has been beautifully updated. Wonderful in every way. Very pleasant staff. Great walking distance to town. We will stay here again when in town for a performance at the Mayo Performing Arts Center.

Breakfast was good. Lots to choose from. Room was clean and very comfortable. No complaints. I wouod stay here again.

Breakfast hits the spot. If you are there for more than a few days, it can be monotonous. The cookies at front desk in pm is a nice touch. Everyone is friendly and convenient for MMH.

The management was so understanding of a last minute travel plan change to my reservation and helped me when I really needed it- thank you for your care and flexibility!

The bed was incredibly comfortable and the hotel was charming as far as the outside, the lobby, the hallways. The room itself was a good size (I rented a room with the kitchenette) but the room was sparse and worn. I didn’t find the kitchenette usable. It was old (fridge, stove, cabinets, utensils). The TV functionality was outdated and the wires were hanging down the wall with nothing to cover them. The location was wonderful, the breakfast was very good, and the parking was convenient. All in all, for me it was the room itself that could use updates while still being able to maintain the history and charm.

Convenient location. Facility clean and staff very helpful. It would be nice to have a Keurig coffee unit in the room. I would have preferred more cereal, fruit, and yogurt options for breakfast.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier, and everything was spotless. Breakfast was very good with plenty of variety to choose from each morning. I also used the gym, it’s not huge, but it has everything you need for a good workout. I loved that there was complimentary coffee and water available in the lobby at all times. The location is ideal: far enough from the center to be quiet, yet still an easy walk to get everywhere. My only suggestion would be to have larger beds, as they felt a bit small for two people.

Perfect in every way!

Very close to the hospital where a family member was and I was from out of town. Staff was friendly, check in and out was fast and easy, breakfast was quite good. Very colonial style, older but clean

My husband and I have been at this Best Western Plus several times. We had a very nice time. We usually go for some time to relax. We really always have a great time. The staff are always very friendly. The bed is always comfortable. We had everything we needed. We love that the coffee machine makes several kinds of coffee ,and the warm cookies are back again! Breakfast is always plenty and good,and our room was spotless. Thank you for a great stay and we will see you again!

This is a very nice, centrally located hotel. The staff is helpful, and the rooms are clean and comfy. The property is somewhat smaller but this just adds to its charm.

Bad for business. Arriving late at night, commercial truck, no parking upon checking the parking lot multiple times. Had to go find somewhere else to stay as the log book was about out. Spoke to Expedia who called the hotel. Front desk told to call monday to speak to a manager. Manager decided to stick with nonrefundable policy. This hotel is not business friendly when explained the circumstances. Essentially penalized because we were due to arrive late at night, commercial trucks where they had no parking (was told after the fact that if we had spoken to the front desk they would have advised we could have parked off site...) and werent given the refund as requested for not being able to accommodate us. This hotel is bad for business.
