It is a beautiful property, near the main roadso easy to find. The staff are all lovely, friendly etc. The main problem was a mix up with my partners breakfast, the order was not correct when he cleary stated what he wanted. Nothing major but annoying and shouldn't happen

Found Chrislin Lodge very comfortable and relaxing. Well organised establishment, safe with friendly staff. Close to Addo Elephant park, only downside was the condition of the access roads, where road works are being conducted.

Great location for Addo park. the set up with the huts as accommodation is like a movie of old africa. We loved it

The venue was really great, staff were outstanding and food was delicious. We enjoyed a relaxing time at Chrislin, also close to the Addo.

A wonderful experience from check in to check out. Wonderful room, wonderful bed, great shower, excellent meals. A great value too. Will definitely stay here again!

The traditional style of this lodge makes it a lovely setting. This was our second stay at the lodge (after a gap of 11 years!), and it was even better than we remembered. Highly recommended. Wifi could be stronger, and laundry service offered on premises would be appreciated.

Chrislin lodge is really guest house rather than a hotel so don't expect a residents lounge and full services during the day. Dinner is a fixed menu at a fixed time but the food is excellent, as was breakfast. The rooms are mud built traditional rondavels which gives the place character but inside are spacious and comfortable with air conditioning if required. Crisscross Adventures is an associated company based round the corner and provide a range of game drives and other activities. We did the half day game drive and the 3 houry canoe trip - both excellent.

We stayed here for 4 nights, but that was 2 nights too long. We wanted a quiet hotel with a pool near Addo Park and the thatched lodges were novel.The grounds and pool are great....They dont tell you about the crop spraying nearby some nights in the brochure, which is noisy. Most people seem to stay for 1 or 2 nights then move on.This probably explains the limited menu offered which is repeated every couple of days. The area has a huge choice of B&B and Chrislin needs some tweaking to be great value.

Excellent reception,nice pool,rooms need more on the cleaning up side,daily breakfast menu needs a bit of work,apart from that nity stuff...it was great

Great food the hotel restaurant "sneezewood". We enjoyed the 3 course dinner, which was fantastic.

Great value lodge near to Addo. Food was fantastic, but not cheap. Our room was very spacious with a comfortable (hard) bed. People were very friendly and our stay was uncomplicated.

A lovely weekend - fab location close to the park. They work with CrissCross Tours who gave us a wonderful full day elephant safari and then half day river trip. Very friendly - could not do enough for you! Nice grounds and lovely food

Large, airy bedroom with fridge and tea making. Very helpful staff, excellent breakfasts though evening meals very average. Not enough pool loungers Excellent location for sightseeing

Room and grounds have a wonderful African feel. The service was very good. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent. Close to Addo and a great base.

I loved, loved, loved the thatched roof room we had at Chrislin African Lodge. The grounds were wonderful with oranges ripe and ready to eat. The air smelled of orange blooms. The night sky was so bright with stars and Milky Way. One night my husband & I sat on the swings and just stared at the sky. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food at Chrislin was exceptionally good. We ate at the restaurant there both nights. It was very convenient being picked up at the lodge for our tour of the Addo Elephant Park.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich. Habe während dem Nachtessen die Safari beim Personal gebucht und funktionierte alles einwandfrei. Die Anlage ist gross und sehr sauber gehalten. Wir würden jederzeit wieder in dies Unterkunft gehen. M. M

Grosses Zimmer in separatem Häuschen. Feines Abendessen Buffet. Anlage ausserhalb des Dorfes, schöne Gartenanlage.

Die ruhige, fast familiäre Atmosphäre, die sehr leckeren Abendmenus . Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlender Standort für den Besuch des Addo Elephant Parks
