Food selection was great. The hotel provided transportation from the visitor center and train station to the hotel and its easy to schedule. Highly recommend this hotel when you visit this area.

Would stay here again

Conveniently located and comfortable rooms. Alishan is beautiful and very walkable from this hotel. However, given high cost of stay, front desk could be more accommodating to international travelers in explaining that there is no direct transportation from outside the park to the hotel and other important information.

Friendly staff and convenient location in Alishan National Park. Breakfast and dinner were good with many options.

Absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel is awesome, the forest and trails amazing, and the staff are truly delightful. Would stay again any time!

Amazing! An obscure shophouse like inn but full of character and good vibes. Hana is so pleasant and helpful, giving us so much information about where to visit and good restaurants. It is walking distance to the boat pier where the sun moon lake is.

The vegetarian dinner is good

Warning - construction work on entire level 10! Incredibly expensive for what is no more than a 3 star hotel. Recommend staying elsewhere for a far more fair price based on what is offered at this hotel. Bed was not comfortable and construction noise made it worse. There is no gym as advertised as it’s on level 10 which is closed.

Great Location inside Alishan National Forest Recreation Area. Walkin

The service is wonderful! They have shuttle buses for ppl climbing up mountain early in the morning for sunrise! Staff are very nice and helpful! The room is spacious and clean! View is also wonderful!!

Beautiful hotel located inside Alishan Park. The staffs were friendly, the room was clean and well-appointed, and very spacious. There are delicious and wide selections available for both breakfast and dinner. We will definitely be returning again soon.

Best location in the area. We chose the half board option. It came with buffet breakfast and dinner, with great varieties, good quality and diligent services from local food, asian dish to western dish, served in a banquet like setting. Hotel offers shuttle bus which is a great service to save our energy for the forest trail surrounding the hotel. As a suggestion, we wish the hotel gives reminder of how to get to the pickup spot right before our arrival. The hotel facilities are plenty from a 50s cafe to garden to observation deck and free self service laundry. Rooms are clean and spacious, service is polite and diligent.. We enjoyed the stay and recommend.

Nice sceneries

As far as Alishan accommodation goes, this is likely far and away the nicest option. And it very well should be considering what they’re charging per night. Compared to another hotel I stayed at the night before in Alishan, this is a 6 star hotel. But compared to a lot of places I’ve stayed at in more expensive cities charging the same amount or less, it’s pretty absurd what they’re asking for. On the bright side breakfast, dinner, transport, laundry are all included. Not that that covers the cost. I’m chalking it up to supply and demand with hotels in Alishan. But the day someone opens up a relatively nice, well located hotel in the area, this place will have to drop its rates to stay competitive. Best part no doubt is the location. Could not be more conveniently located to the beauty of Alishan. There’s a Starbucks inside that charges too much too but it’s necessary given the breakfast coffee is essentially caffeine free.

Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. Buffet-style dinner and breakfast are included, but the quality can be better, considering its room prices. Also, shuttle bus services can be more frequent.
