We liked our stay at Villa Barbarich this August. The history, property and surrounding area are so peaceful! The staff were kind and helpful as well. The only negative was that we felt the carpet in the rooms was very worn and in need of replacement. The bathroom lighting was also very dim. Older eyes need better lighting. Other than that, we enjoyed the villa.

It was a great quiet retreat to end our vacation. Beautiful grounds and great staff! Restaurant has a variety of food options.

Beautiful place to stay, close to Venice, but in a quiet secluded area. Second floor room was large with high ceilings. On-site parking was available for those driving in.

We loved the villa’s classic old world charm and modern amenities. Even though it’s not located directly in Venice, the free shuttle service makes it a great alternative at a reasonable price. The breakfast buffet was the best I’ve ever had during my travels in Europe, and dinner service was equally impressive. Our wait staff, Ilisa and Francesca, were professional, attentive and friendly. We’ll choose Villa Barbarich again for our next visit to Venice.

Villa Barbarich is a lovely place to stay. The building has unique characteristics and it is in a quiet location. Staff are very kind and helpful. We would definitely return and recommend this as a “home away from home”.

The 2 staff at reception were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Above and beyond what was expected. My only complaint was that the pool wasn’t open, which was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel. Apparently it doesn’t open until May.

We spent two wonderful nights at Villa Bararich! It was beautiful and terrifically clean and quiet. The breakfast was yummy and evening meal very good. The shuttle driver and front desk staff were very helpful with transportation and meal arrangements.

Very comfortable hotel, suitable for vacation and leisure, to relax the body and mind. We feel that the atmosphere of the hotel is like returning home, very comfortable. Thank you very much Sarah she is nice and responsible in her work

Free shuttle , taxi service for a fee , free breakfast each morning and bar but no restaurant. Need to taxi a taxi to get around you can order food and have it delivered. But we will stay again .

Beautiful place, easy shuttle access to Venice

Stayed in a big loft like room. Nice big bed that was very comfortable and quiet. The pool was terrific and peaceful. Great breakfast. We stayed here because we were on a road trip and wanted to be close to Venice but have parking and space. It exceeded my expectations. Good value.

Beautiful hotel, fantastic breakfast buffet to enjoy and very welcoming staff. We are vegetarian so there were a couple of options but not enough option to keep us eating in the restaurant each night. We had our dinner on the first night and went elsewhere on the others.

Great getaway

Excelente restaurante y bonita piscina. La habitación deja mucho que desear. Vieja, fea e incómoda. El servicio de los meseros es muy bueno. En general, todos son amables.

very quiet and serene

We really enjoyed staying at the Villa Barbarich! They had a shuttle to and from Venice which was super convenient, but the train station was also a short walk away and was another great way to get to and from Venice. I am so happy we stayed here compared to right in Venice, gave it more of a luxury holiday feel. The breakfast every morning was great and the staff were lovely. We had a garden room facing the pool which we really enjoyed. The property is so beautiful and has a lot of history! There’s even a nice path to walk behind the hotel. If we were ever to come back to Venice we would stay here. The only downfall was the flys!! When you were sitting out by the pool they wouldn’t leave you alone. But that’s just nature!
