Nice modern style hotel close to the train station. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast selection was limited.

Excellent location for shopping and restaurants and very comfy bed all at a reasonable price. Wifi good. Note however that room air conditioner not working while outside air is "fresh" according to staff, but room was a bit warm so we had to open windows. The only problem with that is the noise all night from the street. Which probably explains why the hotel provides ear plugs next to the bed.

They need air conditioning. All five nights, we couldn’t sleep well because it’s too warm. If no blanket then it chill, with blanket it’s hot. Again no air conditioning.

We had a great stay here, nice location in old town, friendly helpful staff, our room for 3 adults was perfect and breakfast every morning.

This is a legitimate 2-star hotel. Whoever qualified it for a 4-star hotel made a joke. To start with, there is no refrigerator in the room. Not even a tiny one. The bedding is another joke. A pillow is about 3 cm (a little over an inch) thick, with nothing but lumps inside. I had to ask for 2 more pillows to get it to be of any neck support. I also had to ask for additional 2 blankets as the one provided was too thin. I had to use one of the blankets to cover the pillow stack so that I don’t feel the lumps. In the bathroom: no body lotion provided. No conditioner for after shampoo use. The single container in the shower says: Hand, hair, and body wash. Same container by the sink. No shower cap or vanity kit. The overall look of the room—shabby. Avoid by all means.

The location is superb, close to the Bahnhof and many other attractions. Very walkable surrounding area. Staff are also friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Excellent location but room was a bit too small if you have lots of luggage

This hotel is in the center of Bern about a 5 minute walk to the train station. We flew into Zurich and took a train to Bern and walked to the hotel. Very easy and convenient. Bern is a very walkable city and also has excellent public transportation so I do not recommend renting a car. Parking is difficult and it is hard to figure out which parking spaces are legal at all times or if you need a parking permit which is region specific. The hotel is nice and offers a great breakfast (especially the beautiful breads). Fresh coffee is available 24 hours a day. In the afternoons they had a self serve bar with a wide variety of wines, beers, cocktail makings and nonalcoholic beverages and with bar snacks which looked nice although we didn't make use of their offerings.

clean room - breakfast looked great but I had plans. The staff was incredible. Very nice, helpful, attentive.

Very nice little room which is all I needed just for me. The bed was very comfortable. It was right next to the federal palace and an easy walk to the cathedral and clock tower. Perfect for what I wanted to see and do while I was in Bern. Happy to return here if I go back!

Drink options were terrific

Clean room. Staffs are helpful and nice. Very convenient spot. I have got the roof top room and the window at the roof are just very very nice to get natural light from the sky. The toilet are massive with two sinks which is quite rare as in most hotel. Little downside is that the bed is a bit squeaky even with just body rotation but overall it is very good and I will recommend it.
