Rooms clean, bed comfy and plenty of space in room. Breakfast was fantastic. Great location.

Well located close to bus stop for short trip into city centre. Our room was very clean and comfortable and had all we needed. There was plenty of room to bring in our suitcases rather than just an overnight bag. Staff were friendly and helpful with local knowledge. Having a restaurant right there was so convenient at end of a long day. Parking was convenient and everything on one level. Breakfast was a good selection of the usual fare. Would recommend this property.

Good location for train station and friendly staff. Rooms could do with a small refresh.

This is not an old or beautiful hotel, but its location at the edge of town means a 10min walk to the station, 25min into town centre (uphill returning!), and lovely rural views from the beer garden, or from your room if the large windows face in that direction. My room was modern and spacious in the American style. Breakfast is very good, other food is decent basic pub fare. What stands out is how extremely well run this place is, the staff are fabulously professional and friendly. Did pub quiz Sunday night, had a blast; staff went out of their way to ask quiz regulars whether I could join their team.

Gorgeous country pub. Room is large and comfortable. My only critique is the tv was not wifi. Breakfast and dinner was fabulous.

Cooked breakfast good, continental breakfast limited choice. Service a bit slow. Room excellent, coffee machine a bonus, biscuits, coffee etc always replenished each day. Parking plentiful location good, very easy to travel to other locations in the county.

We made a last minute booking and from arrival to departure we were well looked after. An excellent visit.

The parking was good We tried breakfast witch was hot very tasty, evening food was fantastic too. Room was very comfortable.

Room was fine, a good size and clean and fresh when we arrived. All the staff were great, very friendly and professional.

One night stay, did the job. Room was clean, hotel in good location with plenty of parking. Staff are nice, breakfast was okay. Only reason never gave 5 stars was because the bathroom had a smell which was not pleasing. Was only there to sleep the night so wasn’t big enough raising.

Toilet was dirty, no bath plug. Staff were wonderful.

Room was huge!! Spotlessly clean and in very good order. Bar staff were attentive and very friendly.
