Definitely a cozy spot to rest at in alpine after hiking all day.

The room was very dirty and honestly was just nasty. There was tons of old hair in the shower and on the walls. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and the towels looked to be twenty years old and had stains on them.

The room air conditioner was way to loud on the low setting

Older place in need of an update, especially the Parking lot which is in bad shape. The AC works well in the Rooms, and Disch TV and the Free internet work well. The bedding and towels definitely need upgrading but the beds ars comfortable. The one Chair in the Room, an office Chair was broken and there are no reading lights or lamps by the beds. The Breakfast is very skimpy, a fridge with a pitcher of Orange Juice and Milk, a few Mini Muffins, WalMart Yogurt, Cheerios and Fruit Loops and a Loaf of Discount Bread.THe Coffee Machine works well but the Pancake Machine is Out of Order. Overall this is an OK place for a short stay but is Overpriced for what you get.( we were charged over $50 for "Taxes and Fees "on what your sight advertised as the Total Price for 3 Nights including Taxes and Fees)

Room was ok saw a couple bugs in the restroom. AC and TV were good. The check-in was a bit unusual and I stopped by the office for the free continental breakfast on two mornings but the office was locked with no one there. Otherwise not bad for the price in a town where the rates seem too high in general

For the price, the Value Lodge is a nice, clean hotel.

There was hair behind the bathroom door. The bed had bugs in it. The floors were dirty.

Met my needs. One night stay. The price was right. Definitely recommend

This is an older property. It was clean enough. The staff was friendly and did offer breakfast. It was noisy at night and I did feel a bit unsafe as car alarms were going off during the night.

Great breakfast. Loved the laundromat! Comfortable bed. Clean room and friendly staff!

Good place to stay at a reasonable price

Stayed for one night. It was overall a great stay factoring in the price. Towels were stained and very little toilet paper left with no replacement readily available. Would still recommend especially if you are car traveling and like to have your car parked at the front door. Breakfast was acceptable. 5 Stars because for the location and price it can't be beat.

Noisy, both from road noise and adjoining rooms. Very basic accomodation.

I stay here for a week every year in spring. I like that I can back my car up to the door. The people are always very friendly. My only issue is that the door didn't seal properly. This led to more noise than I would have liked. I will stay here next year.

We used the Value Lodge as a place for our adventures in Big Bend National Park and the motel had a nice breakfast and the laundry was clean and reasonable.

Rooms were updated and looked nice. Bed was nice and comfy.

This motel offers great value for money.

Good for a quick stay, room was quiet however the bed wasn't very comfortable. Nice variety for breakfast.

Affordable, but NOT pet friendly however if you pay $20 extra per night she will allow it…. Or not can’t be sure
