I want to be very clear the staff was wonderful. The building overall needs to be remodeled and updated. Our room had sparse and rickety old furniture. The room did not have in room coffee, microwave or a refrigerator. Our room had an ocean view deck which was beautiful. So the price we paid for the room was not for the room as we came to understand, but it was for the view we had. The outlets did not have multiple uses and there was only a couple of outlets in the room itself so if you’re coming with your cell phone, smart watch or anything else you might want to bring a power strip. I understand Catalina is a small island and you’re going there to visit the island and enjoy it. You should also be able to come back to a room that gives you the same enjoyable experience and this did not.

Charming

Love the location, charming property, walking distance to everything. Rooms could use updating. Mini fridge, microwave. This property is just as nostalgic as 30 years ago. I highly recommend♥️♥️♥️

The staff were amazing, the building was run down. That is an old picture of a balcony. The only balcony is one shared on the floor. The A/C hardly worked, luckily the ceiling fan did, with what little the windows open. Just shabby and hard to get ICE after certain hours

The staff is so welcoming check-in is always easy and it’s small and quaint, and the upper deck is lovely. We were able to stay after checkout and enjoy the view upstairs. The staff fantastic.

Windows broken and would not close, so was very noisy. Sixth floor balcony offered an amazing view. Hotel rooms due for modernization, needs a dresser, accessible outlets for charging. Entry door has large gap at the bottom, allowing for noise from hallway and is a fire hazard.

The hotel is just nice enough with nothing special about it. The main disappointments were that the WiFi didn’t work and there is no way to get drinking water on property (only tap water, no drinking fountain, and the vending machine didn’t work). It’s clean enough and comfort enough for a night or two.

It is old but quaint. Our room was fabulous, big and the balcony was wonderful looking out to the Ocean.

ok hotel, simple, nothing fancy, old furniture/tiling but preserved. They will store your luggage after checkout.

Overall, nice place to stay. Clean and taken care of. Daily service was good. Hotel itself old build, but clean a maintained. Only question is to service. No late checkout. It is just one hour usually, and I never heard “no” till this time. Also, would be nice to live language, till ferry time. But “no” was answer this time too. Overall nice place, but i’d appreciate more “yes”…

Adorable pink hotel not a far walk to shopping and the beach. When of the low cost hotels that was clean and comfortable. Free coffee and tea in the lobby. Would stay there again.
