Amazing hotel! Super clean and owners very friendly. Enjoy our 4 days there.

Nireides Hotel was the perfect place to celebrate our first anniversary. This family-run boutique hotel made us feel instantly at home. We had an amazing, spacious suite with a large sitting area, two balconies, his-and-her closets, and a handy kitchenette — it had everything we needed and more. The breakfast was incredible — so generous and delicious we never even needed lunch. We loved the homemade breads, pastries, cookies, jams, honey, cheese, fruit, eggs made to order, and thick Greek yogurt. Everything was fresh, local, and made by their family with care. After exploring and hiking around beautiful Sifnos, we’d relax at the hotel with amazing views, then take a short walk into town for dinner on the beach. Peaceful, scenic, and welcoming — this place was everything we hoped for. Can’t recommend it enough!

TLDR; Nirides Hotel is the TOP spot in Platis Gialos. The best view of the bay and beach. Amazing for families, newly weds, couples, or lone travelers. Perched on top of the steps overlooking the bay with sunset mountain views. We just returned from Athens after a week long trip in Greece for a wedding in Sifnos. We stayed at Niriedes Hotel for 3 nights. The first morning back home I found some of the breakfast cookies in my suit case I smuggled and it inspired me to write our review. Everything about our stay was top notch. Just incredible. Amazing. Dreamy. Fantastically Picturesque. If you are staying in this area, Platis Gialos, Nirides Hotel is a step above (literally). Its perched on top of the Cyclades overlooking the port, beach, and bay. Its quietly tucked away in its own little cliffside treasure cove. The rooms are spacious and the amenities are pretty much all inclusive. We brought our toddler and there was a dedicated play room with all sorts of toys perfectly set by the reception and outside the pool area so mom and dad can relax while the children play safely. The hospitality was A+ absolutely amazing and incredible. The owner/operators who have owned Niriedes for 23 years are dedicated to their lovely hotel. There are nearby restaurants, shops, and markets in walking distance, down the secret cliffside stair trail or you can rent a motorbike/car to get to Apollonia or any nearby area. The view from our very private and spacious suite was gorgeous. A large balcony topped it off. The full breakfast was delicious with lots of fresh, baked items from their family bakery. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful suite, very clean and decorated with works of local artisans. Amazing breakfast served by Thanos, hotel proprieter. Welcoming atmosphere, close access to sandy beach with beach-side restaurants, supermarket and local potters.Easy walk to puvlic transportation.

An absolute stunning view from this fabulous property overlooking Platys Gialos beach. Our room was superb with balconies at the front and side and well appointed. Breakfast was outstanding with fresh pastries, cheese, fruit, yogurt, coffee and more. Our hosts very friendly and provided great information about visiting parts of the island. We thanked them for providing a wonderful four day stay at wonderful Neriedes Hotel.

The owners Thanos and Ante are brilliant gave us great advise about island. They told what villages to visit and restaurants to eat at. Which made our stay so much better. Breakfast was brilliant so much food. We sat eating breakfast over the o en.

This is a beautiful hotel. The owners are extremely warm and welcoming. Each day they serve an amazing and plentiful breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hote.

I stayed at this beautiful , small and boutique like hotel with my granddaughter and my daughter. I could not have been more pleased with the hotel, and with Thanos the owner. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the room was perfect for us. The view from this hotel is most enjoyable. All of our questions were answered efficiently, and with humor. Every single recommendation that Thanos made was exactly what he said it would be, and we thoroughly enjoyed the trip from the standpoint of not having to just make our way around blindly. He was very helpful in helping us navigate.this perfect little island . I would gladly return in a single beat of my heart. Value for cost ratio is very good with this hotel. If you are looking for a great spot, your search is over. This is it.

Wonderful experience

This is quite simply a fantastic hotel in a beautiful place. Beautiful room with an amazing view of Platys Gialos, which is one of the nicest beaches I have ever been to. Sifnos is an island where you eat incredibly well, and there are numerous excellent restaurants on the beach a short walk from the hotel. The breakfast at the Niriedes is incredible- including an array of fresh baked goods from the owner’s father in law’s bakery in nearby Apollonia. Thanos, the owner, was always friendly, and efficient, and takes care of anything you need, from the great breakfast, evening drinks, taxi booking and restaurant advice. The only note of caution for those considering a stay at Niriedes is that, to get the great view, you need to climb stairs up from the beach, and to your room, which could be an issue if you have any mobility issues.
