The staff were kind and with big smiles. Breakfast was pretty good. Just the hotel was a bit old so we cannot open and close the windows good.

Sports minded? Touring cyclist, runners or walkers and surfers. This is the most affordable two star you will find. Well recommended.

Tired hostel.

Stopped here for 1 night half board in April. A bit worried after reading the reports. The Montesol is actually an annex of the Alta Pina hotel, which is where we were housed.We were pleasantly surprised. The staff were lovely throughout. The room was basic but very clean. The balcony was small but big enough for two. The evening meal was really nice (dorada, meat and vegetarian was on offer).The drinks were very reasonably priced and the breakfast included sausage, scrambled eggs, cereal, fruit, etc.I guess it could be quite noisy in high season, but I cannot comment.Take a travel kettle for your room.The eroski store around the corner sells large frozen bottles of water for 1 euro, a must for the middle of the night!

Sind spät abends eingetroffen und haben statt einem Zimmer im Montesol ein schönes Zimmer im Chevy (Haupthaus) erhalten. Alles frisch, neu und unser Zimmer war groß und tolles Bad! Das Essen ist für ein 3 Sterne Hotel ausgezeichnet gut!! Weniger spanisch, eher europäisch aber tadellos.

Havde bestilt ophold på Hostal Montesol, men fik værelse på Hotel Chevy, som var et fantastisk dejligt hotel. Morgenbuffet med i prisen og den var rigtig flot og varieret. Alt i alt en dejlig oplevelse.

Es un hostal situado cerca del centro de cala Ratjada. El check-in se debe hacer en el hotel Chevy donde también se encuentra la piscina y el comedor. La comida muy buena y el personal del hotel muy amable. La habitación básica correcta, tiene un ventilador y estaba todo limpio. Con vecinos algo ruidosos ha costado dormír pero en general bien. Calidad - precio lo recomiendo

Algo a tener en cuenta es qué hay que hacer el check in y el check out a 100metros en el hotel Chevy, igual que para desayunar, o ir a la piscina y solo hay wifi en el Chevy. Se escucha mucho el sonido de las otras habitaciones. El edificio e instalaciones están recién pintados.

Calidad precio normal, lq única pega es que no hay aire acondicionado pero si pides un ventilador te lo dejan.

Weil ich im Juli mit dem Zimmer nicht zufrieden war, wollte ich die vorher auch für Oktober getägtigte Buchung nicht in Anspruch genommen. Dies habe ich auch im Juli bereits gemeldet und um Kulanz gebeten. Die Antwort war 0% Kulanz, obwohl man das Zimmer weitervermieten konnte und kein Wasser, Strom, Frühstück, Wäschereinigung etc. in Anspruch genommen wurde. Auch die Putzfrau wurde gespart. Wenigstens ein Entgegenkommen von nur 10% hätte ich akzeptiert (in Deutschland Pflicht). Wie dumm muss man sein, so stur zu bleiben, obwohl ich gesagt habe, daß ich eine schlechte Bewertung abgeben muss und Journalist bin und daher sicherlich auch nicht positiv berichten werde?

Hôtel entièrement rénové, c'est bien Malheureusement, le personnel de la réception manque singulièrement de la moindre flexibilité 5' montre en main après l'heure du check out, on frappe à votre porte pour vous faire sortir et il vaut mieux s'exécuter pour éviter un supplément de 21 euros !!! Wifi payant dans l'hôtel : 1 jour = 4 euros, 1 semaine = 15 euros A Cala Ratjada, on n'est pas en Espagne, on est en...... Allemagne !!!!!!!

Habia 4 cucarachas muertas en el baño y las toallas estaban sucias. Al hacer el check out lo indicamos y la respuesta fue que es normal que haya cucarachas estando al lado de un descampado y que las toallas era imposible que estuvieran sucias. Por ser barato no tiene por que estar sucio. Por otra parte mucho ruido de coches pasando durante todo el dia, no tenia ni un simple ventilador. No volvere.

Just a good hostal, you get what you paid for. Very small bathroom and room in general. A very good breakfast. You sleep in one building, you have to check in in another building, the swimming pool is in another building and the breakfast, guess what? In another building :) It didn't mean this was bad, just new for me.

Schönes kleines Hostel, in ruhiger Lage. Rezeption und Frühstück im anderen Hotel aber super top.

The hotel has a very small rooms and no air conditioner in the room... The breakfast was fine however it was served in another hotel just across the street. I would recommend it for young people but not for families.
