Nice room but a little cramped for two people.

Stayed at the hotel on my last night in Stavanger as I was leaving on an early morning flight. It was about a 10 minute walk from/to the airport terminal, fine in dry weather but wouldn't have been great in adverse conditions. The room was of a high standard although the view included a cemetery. Dinner was of a good quality but although I ate relatively early the kitchen seemed to close part way through my meal and I had to go and stand at the till in order to pay the bill. Good breakfast included in the room rate and started at 6am which I appreciated in view of my early departure.

This is one of the more expensive hotels in Stavanger/Sola. It took more than 30 minutes to check in at the reception. They didn't honor my payment via hotels.com and wanted me to pay them directly. While I refused, they wanted me to fish up a bank statement showing I had payed hotels.com at the counter. What a miserly service! The room itself was a huge disappointment. Really small! They had a tv, but it was mounted 90 degrees vis a vis the long side of the bed. This hotel is simply not worth paying for. There are better coices in the area for a lot less.

It was a comfortable place to stay.

The hotel is within walking distance of the airport and there is an airport bus going to Stavanger, further a bus going to Sandnes. The hotel has spacious rooms and really good complimentary breakfast with early bird options including fish, fruits, bread, Joghurt, Juice and warm drinks from 4am.

What an amazing place to stay ... the staff is beyond helpful ... as yesterday was world women day, they had a little something for every woman, who checked in, which was the sweetest touch If you happen to be there for business, a lot is in walking distance aswell

The room was super clean with a comfortable bed. The huge pillow was a plus! The lady at the check-in desk was very nice and friendly. When we found out we just had one set of towels in the room, we went down to the front desk and asked for another set. Another staff helped us with that and she was also very friendly and helpful. Your staffs were fabulous!! Location is great, just an easy 10-minute walk from the airport, even with a suitcase. One little side note. Your shower temperature was pretty interesting. The water temperature had a pattern of: 15-20 seconds of a perfect temp, then 1 second too hot, followed by 1 second too cold, and then 15-20 seconds of the perfect temp again.... It kept this pattern for the entire time I was in the shower!! We stayed at the 10th floor, it could be the reason. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.
