Location is great.

Hotel in the middle of el Centro, blocks off the Plaza on St Lucia Park. Would have been a great stay except for one huge problem. The hotel is next to a club that blares music from 9pm till 2:30am. This noise permeates the hotel rooms,making it impossible to sleep. Kavia is big enough to constrain the club or sound proof the walls between them. I have stayed in places with music in the hotel or near by but this was the worst. Staff was great, it's clean. But it was not enough to overcome the noise.

El hotel es un lugar viejo, por el precio que tiene esperaría algo más remodelado, ya que está en el estándar que otros más nuevos. La ubicación aunque es céntrica, es terrible por las noches porque está detrás de un antro y la música se oye excesivamente alta toda la noche. Es casi imposible dormir.

Parking is off site at an extra cost. Centro is a 6 min walk. Market 15 min.

I had a very pleasant stay here. Excellent value. Unbeatable location. I would stay again for sure and definitely recommend.

No toilet paper in room

This hotel is affordable, had a little pool, and is close to a lot of places to eat, convenience stores, shops, and more. This part of town feels safe to walk around. The person at the front desk was very friendly. The only negative things I have is that my sink was leaking, so the bathroom floor was almost always covered in puddles, and the window/walls of the room make it so you can hear everything that's going on in the hotel. But I still liked my stay here.

Great hotel! Central location, clean, friendly staff on front desk and they let us charge phones and staore bags after check out, bonus!

The hotel is in a great location, close to everything you may need and places you want to see within walking distance, the property itself needs updating and need to be more thoughtful for furniture and shelves in the bathrooms for guest to use. The staff is very attentive and helpful. You get what you paid for but it would be nice if someone really thought it out a bit more pleasant stay for guests.

It was great

When I was going to check-in to Hotel Gran Centenario the front lady told me that the hotel no longer had room for us at that hotel and had sent us to another hotel which I had to pay extra to Taxi to get to for not informing the client ahead of time. Very dissatisfied with the check in service at the hotel because I reserved for the original hotel not to be sent to another hotel 3 blocks down. Other than the service at the new hotel that I was sent to called Hotel Flamingo was very friendly, clean and nice.

The bathroom was not clean and even though we reported it, they never get to clean it. Besides that, our experience was ok.

Air conditioner started to leak water onto bed. Hotel would not move me to other room although hotel has rooms available. First problem was I paid for double beds and only received 1 bed

The accommodations are simple but clean (and the AC functioned well), and the staff is friendly and helpful. My room had no phone but they let me use the front desk phone for local calls.

Was not Happy as the housekeepers would riffle threw my belongings, they never took anything but it made me always having an uneasy feeling.

Gabriella was very helpful providing advice and recommendations whenever we asked.

The rooms could use some updating, but cold a/c and hot water will instantly make you forget about the crumbling paint and outdated furniture. The beds are comfortable, the staff super helpful, and the location cannot be beat. I would definately stay again!

The air-condition did not work and the pool was really dirty the first day and closed the second day, but the price and location is good.
