I booked this property via Expedia and when I reached there the hotel was closed. The surprising thing is that I was closed for more than a year and still then Expedia did booking and charged advance money. This is my second incident in Myanmar with Expedia that such thing happened. Now my request will go into never ending cycle of refund and as usual Expedia will send me long emails with no action. In July I lost my 200$ in a similar incident and never got paid back. Poor service by Expedia.

We couldn't have chosen a better Hotel in Yangon. It was in an perfect situation, only 32 rooms but really attractively presented. Our Deluxe room was large and comfortable with all we needed. The restaurant provided a variety of choice for breakfast to suit all needs and was fresh and tasty. The service was excellent and couldn't have been more helpful. We highly recommend this Hotel.

The rooms are very cute! The bathroom looks a bit old and worn down, and the lighting of the room is fine unless you open your window which faces directly into the street. But the service is great and the atmosphere of the hotel is hipster. The best thing is the breakfast which was truly exceptional - everything is made to order and there is no cold buffet food.

Great choices of restaurants, market (Bogyoke Aung San Market) and mall (Junction City) all within 10 mins of walking distance.

The staff was super nice and the manager was very helpful with recommending things to do in the area along with walking directions. The room was gorgeous and spacious. Perfectly clean. The hotel is centrally located and walking distance (30 minutes or less) to the main Yangon attractions.

Very well run boutique hotel with extremely helpful staff tucked down a side street with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, and within walking distance of downtown Yangon. Would certainly stay there again.

I really like this place and the neighborhood it’s in. The place is a little bit worn, but it more than makes up for that with a charming appearance and comfort. Walk to downtown is not long, and there are some nice restaurants in the neighborhood.

Lovely oasis in the urban sprawl of Yangon. Exceedingly friendly staff and manager, who is very hands on and even let us keep the room until mid afternoon because they were not heavily booked. And the restaurant is really excellent too (and reasonably priced).

It’s a good hotel, but the rooms are smaller than they look on the website. Very comfortable and great service. If you have breakfast, you need to be very clear on what you want otherwise is a bit “Fawlty Towers” but the food is good. Local area is a bit run down but it’s convenient for most places.

Great boutique local hotel. Staff was supper friendly and helpful. They even allowed us to check out at 3 pm free of charge as our flight departed at 5:30 pm. There was a welcome drink as well as a farewell drink. Breakfast was a la carte with plenty of choices and you can order and eat as much as you can. The breakfast quality was very good too. Download Grab Taxi app before you leave home. You can use Grab to get a taxi to-and-from the airport and other places easily and cheaply.

Nice hotel in good central location. Rooms are quirky and live up to their name. Staff are great and try hard. The restaurant let’s it down a bit, it is trying so hard to be a ‘Fine Dining’ Restaurant, however the prices keep out of the locals and it is probably not big enough for large corporations to use. I think most people eat there the first night then venture out into the surrounding area thereafter. That said it is a nice restaurant with a pleasing ambience. It really should be doing well and the staff do their utmost .The breakfast, which is all cooked to order which is good but they must sort out the basics - toast should be done in a toaster not a dry frying pan! Instead of being brown and crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, you get something As white as it started and rock hard all the way though, luckily though you only get a quarter of a slice at a time!

The Loft is in downtown Yangon within walking distance of some old amazing neighbourshoods. They have a small garden out back and an attached resto with yummy food. This is a small new boutique hotel with quirky interior design. Due to the current Rohingya crisis, there are few tourists and I fear for the hotel’s viability. The staff are excellent and arranged private airport transfers. Please support these kind folk!

Lovely hotel in the downtown area. Located in a convenient area. The hotel is amazing from the service received from the reception to the staff at the restaurant. The room itself was amazingly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a great power shower and the toiletries were of loccitone which I was impressed with. Alex’s restaurant within the hotel had a great selection of breakfast and egg benedict is a must try. Alex’s pastries is also another place within the hotel worth trying for pastries tea and coffee. I sat down in the garden at the back which was nice. Currently there is construction work going on st the back of the garden so it can be a little noisy while sat there. While I was there I did get to meet the hotels mascot “Bon Bon” who is a lovely cuddly dog. The only let downs of the hotel were not enough channels on the TV and not enough tea bags were left. Overall if your looking for a getaway from the city that is located within the city this hotel is a perfect choice
