As always the room was ideal and the staff went above and beyond. Still my favourite place to stay in Stratford

- Great staff. - Restaurant was also very good with fair pricing - Rooms where clean and well maintained - Bathrooms very immaculate, not a single speck of grime to be found, also very modern - Great central location, half a block from the Avon theatre - No parking on site, there is parallel municipal street parking but at a cost, free municipal public parking lot a few blocks away, the walk is quite nice as you get to walk through the neighborhood.

Had a great stay. The rooms have been renovated, redone bathrooms, new mattresses. Staff were great as usual, had dinner in the restaurant. The new menu was great, steaks cooked as requested. Great location, close to all the shops and theatre. A great stay!!!

Staff was amazing. Room was spotless and are looking to stay there on our next visit. Just wish there was on site parking but at least free parking about 3 blocks away and was not an issue.

Fosters is our "go to" place to stay when we visit Stratford for the shows at the Festival. It is located practically right next door to two of the four theaters and is well within walking distance to the other two. Craig Foster recently sold the hotel he had founded well over 20 years ago (I'm guessing) and it is now managed by Mercers, another fine establishment in Stratford. Over the past year Mercers has been beautifully redoing the rooms and upgrading the bathrooms! The restaurant at Fosters is very, very nice and serves 4 star meals!

Overall the stay was great. Staff is wonderful and the restaurant bar is our favorite stop for drinks before heading off to plays. We have used this property before and the location can not be beaten. My only issue is there was a hold for the full stay amount plus an additional $200 for room charges. Then on check out we were charged the room rate amount. It has now been 7+ days and the fairly large hold is still pending. It is frustrating to have to review and confirm the amount is still not cleared off the card, but the charge was immediate.

Beautiful Inn, great rooms, very clean amd found our room on the third floor quiet. The hotel team are overall very friendly and helpful. Great bar with nice selection of wines and cocktails. Restaurant food and wait staff excellent.

The room was really cute. The atmosphere in and around the lodging was lovely. Only two complaints, the sofa bed was very uncomfortable and the food was decent but not worth what they charged. There were plenty of other options that were great, worth the cost and nearby. I definitely would stay again but not eat there.

Clean unique stay. Our room all mission furniture. Very cute renovated bathroom.

Our experience at Foster's Inn was wonderful, from check in to check out. We also had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. The meals were delicious and service excellent. We will definitely stay here again.

Great place for couples, 3 doors away from the Avon Theatre. The rooms were modernized, clean and comfortable. The only issue is parking, but there is a public lot about 1/2 a block away, and the "parking police" tend to be lenient.

New a clean. Lacks access to the lobby early. Like 5 am.

Beautiful bathroom. Problem with lack of standard lamp in room alcove. (room 9), a feature shown on web site and one which led us to choose this room. Huge tripping hazard from foot of oversized bed frame - I have the bruises to prove it!

I have stayed at Foster's many times in the past and was concerned that the renovations might have interfered with the charm. However the big difference was a majorly upgraded bathroom and a few cleaner lines. The antiques and comfy furniture (including the bed) remained. Improvements all around. The staff didn't need any renovation, they were as helpful and friendly as they've always been. I'm returning to the festival twice more during the summer and am very glad I booked into Foster's, I'm eager to return.

Great place to stay and great food,the staff is awesome and helpful. The only one thing is when booking a room it states breakfast is included which is of course a seller but it was not and only offered a free mimosa, very misleading. I would recommend this place to my family and friends.

Staff very friendly and room was perfect. Restaurant was nice but not too many vegetarian options

Just unhappy with the way the accounting is being handled. Adding an extra $200.00 to your account and then it appearing on your credit card. Yes, it came off but after 5-7 days.

Clean, quaint, and truly close to everything happening in Stratford!
