Less than 10 minutes walk to the beach. Everything you need is close by. The water pressure in the shower wasn't very good, have to use longer time as it's very slow. However, considering the price we paid (around 600 baht per night) we would be happy to return. Comfortable beds. There were some ants but this is quite normal in Thailand. PS: You can walk around the temple to avoid paying the 200 baht ticket to the corrupt guards, don't support them, the ocean is dirty on koh samet compared to other places in Thailand. Just ask where the temple is, after you see it keep going straight. You will have to walk through one of the resorts to get to the beach, the staff don't care if you do.
