The staff was wonderful, the view was incredible and the Smart-cars made available to us to drive made our trip! If you want peace and quiet with a very romantic view and setting this is the place.

Easily one of the most incredible hotel experiences I’ve ever had! Expensive, yes, worth it, absolutely! We arrived from Milan a lot earlier than the check in window, and they offered to hold our bags, gave us an tour of all of the amenities the hotel had to offer, and give us a complimentary car to drive ourselves to the city center while we waited for our room. After driving back from the city center and turning the car back in, we were showed our room and left with chocolates and wine while they brought up our bags. The in-hotel restaurant was open for lunch so we grabbed a bite to eat while we enjoyed the incredible view of Lugano lake. I can go on and on about this hotel but, if you have the money please make an effort to stay here and experience luxury in the way it’s meant to be enjoyed.

Super modern, well equipped. Quiet and away from the city. Walkable but a steep Climb from the lake. Amazing views

Great location and service. Food and spa are also very good. The rooms are brand new and modern, but perhaps too modern. The shower stall doors kept coming off the rails, and everything in the room is controlled by a tablet that kept losing connection.

Fantastic spa resort with a great view. It is quite a small hotel so atmosphere is very quite. They have great courtesy cars which are essential to travel in and out of Lugano town

Best hotel ever

This was my first stay since having inly stayed at Villa Castagnola a few times when in Lugano. The rooms are fantastic, view amazing, great room service (had breakfast twice), and the Michelin 1 star was a considerable gastronomic experience.

Really nice property with the best view. Great SPA and also you get included a smart car and electric bike.

Everyone was great. We could't ask for better. We travelled for over 50 years to the finest places and this is up there with best. we have never had a hotel that had a vehicle to use to go somewhere for free. Expensive but worth every penny.

Awesome hotel and staff. The view of the lake is super. Complimentary electric car and bikes to go around the town. The chlorine free pool and jacuzzi are great.

This hotel has the best service we have had in a long time. It was so discreet and beautiful. I would highly recommend it because it isn’t crowded yet still easily accessible by taxi.

The hotel was perfect. We really enjoyed our long weekend holiday there. They provide electrical car to move around Lugano which is perfect. Checking in was very easy and fast!. The reception guy names “Martin” was very nice, helpful, kind, supportive & helping us with everything to visit in Lugano. We tried the spa & it was nice! We missed hammam experience but kept it for next time. The best thing about the room was the huge bathtub & the view. Thanks The View team <3 !

Property is excellent, high quality, and good value for money. The views are spectacular and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. It is 5-10 min drive outside the main area of the city, and not entirely walkable from up the hill, so they have smart cars available to guests for free to make up for it. We got an early check-in, breakfast included everyday. Give this one a try!

I arrived at the property to do my job, and the staff and the facilities combined to help me to do that so I can now rest at home. I arrived tired, busy and slightly burned out - but because of the staff, facilities, clean air and views I easily did 2-3 weeks work during my 5 days at The View Laguna - and I also completed many of the wider training, meetings and strategic things I needed to do in my time there too. I could easily do 12-14 hours a day and remain refreshed, focused, rested and happy. This was a truly outstanding experience for me which I will book many times in the future. I’m very grateful for everything you did for me. Thank you.
