Rooms were nicely functional with comfortable beds. Breakfast was very good. Staff friendly and attentive.

The balcony view was great, and the front desk staff were pleasant and very helpful. While this isn’t the hotel’s fault, the surrounding area was quite loud due to nearby festivities. The room doors blocked much of the noise, though they weren’t completely soundproof.

The hotel was difficult to find. We had to call them for directions and, even then, they had to come out to find us in the square. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location. No elevator, and narrow stairs if you have large bags. Staff was very helpful. Room was clean and cozy and the balconies are cute! Breakfast was delicious.

This small-scale, immaculately kept, stylish hotel is conveniently located on Syntagma Sq. in the old quarter of Nafpoli, a block from the first parliament of modern Greece. A great base for walking the historic city with shops and restaurants. Breakfast was unusually nice. Rooms smallish, but stylishly modern and comfy. Only negative is the tricky car access to all the old-town hotels via confusing 1-way roads. We finally lucked out finding Aristidou all the way at the end of the seafront and turned left on Spilladou onto Staikopolou. No parking at hotel, but free parking not too far away. Hotel desk manager/owner is a pleasant and highly competent local woman.

Very nice people, terrific location. We had upgraded room, large by European standards, huge bathroom with walk-in closet and nice little balcony with view of Palamidi Fortress. Nice continental breakfast included. Nafplio is a wonderful sea side city with great “ sea wall” trail, historic sites plenty of good restaurants and several ancient sites within a short drive. We loved our stay.

PROS: Beautiful little hotel in the center of the city. Convenient to everything. Great breakfast with yummy food. Very pleasant staff. CON: Difficult to find due to center of old city is closed to traffic. You must park blocks away and haul your bags from street or port parking lot. No lift in building.

One thing I really enjoyed was the rooftop. It had a really nice view and was very clean. I did not think the price depicted the worth of the room.

The staff of Athena are beyond helpful and courteous. The hotel is small enough to provide you with personal attention and they do. The experience e is much like being among at home with friends and family. The location is perfect and views can be accessed from many area.

The hotel location was good - a walk to the Acropolis, Syntagma Square, Monastiraki and the shops. Wi-fi did not work at all, room did not feel particularly comfortable although the bathroom was decent, could hear loads of noise coming from the corridor late at night.

Hotel is located just on the main square. It has been recently decorated and very comfortable bed/room. Helpful staff and nice breakfast if a little limited.

Gtreat hotel on center of town and very good breakfast.strange it had a very small bathroom sink and faucet is too high and water splashes on floor and hard to use it.

The hotel is very nice, solo rooms are compact but very well appointed and had everything needed for a short stay. Complimentary water in the fridge. Bed and mattress very comfortable. Personnel was very helpful and kind. Location was in the center of old town, on a big square which made it easy to get back for a short rest or to take something and go out again. Fortunately, you don't have to climb any stairs to get to the hotel as is the issue for some hotels in old town! A nice little balcony too. The only minor issue I had is that on a Friday night I stayed there, there was some loud Greek music playing outside a taverna. Fortunately I had my earplugs ready and could sleep! Also, kids playing, busy square etc etc. so...noise. Although the rooms are soundproofed and keeps some noise out. And also the breakfast was nice, really tasty, but not many choices. But it's a small hotel so I understand that. Overall, I would stay there again.

Härligt hotell mitt i Nafplio. Saknar hiss och rummet var litet, men läge och frukost utmärrkta. Ingen parkering i närheten. Många serveringar i absolut närhet.
