Good well cooked breakfast well presented room

Great stay. Just what I needed before my ultra marathon. Clean and close to the start line. Mark was fast with responding to messages and really friendly, even making me breakfast early.

Parking was a challenge...but got a spot. Breaky was good...The proprietor was very nice. There were 3 or 4 Pubs in walking distance. All good...

We liked the clean and comfortable house, and the convenient location. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. Blackout curtains or blinds in the bedroom would be a great improvement, as the thin curtains let in a lot of early morning bright light. (Room 1)

Mark is an excellent host. Good instructions by text on how to enter the property and find your room. Breakfast cooked to order by means of a card filled in the evening before and the time you would like it. Nice quiet location in the busy village, just a few mins walk to eateries, the castle and beach. Free WiFi. Would recommend it to anyone who is able bodied, no lift as is a nice converted private house.

Ideal location- lots of eating places within 300 yards. Good clean room, good breakfasts and very helpful host. Finding a parking space on the street could be tricky.

The person who manages everything - i think his name is Mark - was just so thoughtful and solicitous. He made our stay comfortable and pleasant.

The room had not been cleaned at all It was honestly filthy with dust an inch high on the bedside cabinets and the skirting boards Even the door handle to the room was full of grime The parking was a nightmare as it was first come first served and there were cars everywhere with nowhere at all to park. The hotel is dated and run down and we left without staying the night and found alternative accommodation in Berwick-upon-Tweed (which was lovely) at great expense to ourselves but it was worth it as we couldn’t possibly stay at that hotel. We were going to inform a member of staff about our decision to leave but there was nobody about , the hotel seemed to be unmanned. Also we were sold a sea view which was nonsense as there wasn’t one. All in all an experience we want to forget.

Lovely B and B with a beautiful clean room and friendly owners. Good breakfast in the morning. Plenty of hot water. Room 1 has fabulous views over the fields and across to the sea and a nice big bath. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Managed to get a parking space near front door,easy access via key box. Spacious room and shower room, very clean comfortable bed,and quiet location. 10-15 minutes to castle/beach.very friendly welcome and an excellent breakfast. A couple of gift shops nearby and a few nice looking pubs/ restaurants. Overall an excellent place to stay in a great location.

Fantastic location near Bamburgh Castle. Lovely hosts. Excellent breakfast, especially the sausages and black pudding. New shower in our room which was lovely. Comfy bed.

This was a wonderful stay! Mark was so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was amazing. The room was clean and spacious. Would definitiely recommend!
