I have previously left a 5 star review after an excellent stay in a different room.We returned for my husbands 50th birthday & decided to stay in the most expensive room. It was a lovely room, although we were there for check-in, we had to wait 45 minutes to be allowed in because apparently there was a problem in another room that needed to be accessed from ours. Then the heating went and hot water disappeared after about 10 minutes when my husband tried to run a bath. The receptionist came round and fiddled with the boiler. It worked again. We didnt get to use the bath earlier so we used the hot tub.Lovely! Went back inside & it was freezing.Heating had turned off again and no hot water.Receptionist came over again and showed my husband how to refil the boiler if it happened again. She also offered to bring a heater over. We had to fill the boiler 3 more times, once at 3am because the place was freezing. The front door has a terrible draft. We said we were dissapointed in the morning at breakfast which was nice, but not as good as the first time we went. This time there was no continental breakfast available to choose from which used to be set up on separate table in additon to your hot breakfast. At checkout the receptionist was gone and the person there argued there was no problem in the room.Apparently someone snuck into our room at breakfast to check! So we asked to speak to the manager. This was 3 weeks ago now.A deal was offered for another stay when theyre quiet. So disappointed
