Really lovely quirky hotel. Breakfast and dinner included, both of which were really good. Good location, slightly out of the centre but easily walkable or there's a tram stop right outside. Would definitely recommend!

We were pleasantly surprised that breakfast and dinner were included. The food option were many, healthy, and great! This boutique hotel is one of a kind including one of the intact isolation prison cells. I loved the architecture.

This hotel was amazing in everywhere. The history of the hotel is great. The lasagna at the included dinner was excellent. Definitely will be back to this hotel.

What a wonderful three nights we had at this fabulous hotel in the beautiful city of Helsinki. The conversion of this former gaol into a hotel has been creative and innovative.The location is convenient to the tram, waterfront and local restaurants. Our room was large, incredibly quiet and super comfortable. The inclusion in the tariff of breakfast, afternoon tea and the evening meal made it excellent value for money and added to the “ homely” environment they have successfully created. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I cannot recommend this hotel more highly and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We stayed for five nights at the prison hotel. We loved how unique the hotel is. We loved breakfast, afternoon coffee and cake and thought the free dinner was great value and delicious.
