The breakfast is OK but overall a nice place to stay

Absolutely stunning setting close to Bath. The staff were courteous and helpful, the bed was comfortable and everywhere was clean. Breakfast food was of good quality and served in beautiful dining areas. Hope to return soon.

check in very easy and friendly helpful staff, nice room, had better evening bar meals, but breakfast was very good

Hotel rooms are 'tired' and could do with upgrading. Wifi is poor in certain rooms and the cooked breakfast is 'cafe-like'.

Cannot fault this hotel. Wonderful view, beitiful setting.

Nice breakfast, easy parking, but room sort of small yet still clean and convenient.

The property was very nice but we found the beds very uncomfortable and the shower was very poor, with virtually no flow

Room for improvement

Clean room with modern bathroom. Very hot in room and fan provided however did not help much. Unable to get parked in hotel car park or overflow and limited parking on street

The bed was really lumpy and uncomfortable. Everything else was fine. The evening meal was good too

The hotel is beautiful Victorean property. The location is idyllic between the hills. The only issue was the narrow entrance and the lack of parking due to the tour buses the used 4 parking spots. Other than that, the hotel was a hit. I would definitely stay again.

Great Stay

Bit off a step clime up drive had to drive down to pick my wife up in car could not walk hill

Disappointing.

I stayed here as it was close to where I was going to. Our Greek receptionist was lovely as were all the staff which makes a hotel special. Fans in the room made the warm temperature bearable. The view over the valley were amazing.

Lovely building and very friendly staff. Very tired though, bathroom tiny, mattress very soft and no sound insulation. But, its a 3* hotel, so wasn't expecting perfection. A decent stay

good environment and room condition

Although was a late booking, my room was very dated with a cramped bathroom and toilet. The bedroom window also overlooked a metal external staircase and overlooked the main kitchen ventilation stack. WiFi reception was poor and had to hang out of the window to get a signal.
