Personal concierge was especially helpful in making arrangements for our stay, including personal transfers, excursions, and making our stay especially enjoyable. The staff were all exceptional, rooms were clean, and facilities well maintained.

Gorgeous location. Beach is great . Shuttle to the beach is a real plus. The house was very clean . The staff was not always friendly, particularly the beach amenities staff and the restaurant staff. The food at the restaurant was mediocre.

Loved everything about this resort. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Shuttles were never a long wait. Beautiful views from our villa as well as from the pools. We can't wait to come back!

The staff was friendly and accommodating. They were able to line up excursions and transportation with little notice. They helped us find wildlife, picked us up when we got lost exploring the resort. Have several options for pools that all have perks. TuleCasa was a beautiful spacious room, but i wish we would have been nestled into the resort. This room is off the road above the guest service area.

Tulenar Resort exceeded my expectations. It was a great resort to conclude our amazing trip to Costa Rica in. Our ocean view bungalow had monkeys outside of it every day. We were right next to the cafe where the mommy sloth, Harriet and her baby happened to be residing while we were there. During one of the thunder storms the howler monkeys howled with the thunder while we were outside under the trees... Just outside of our bungalow. My family and I also did the ATV excursion and Night Jungle Tour, both which we highly recommend. The ATV one was particularly fun because we got to swim in a waterfall during the middle of it. The shuttle to their private beach is easy and convenient. They literally pick up and drop you off where you are staying. They also provide beech towels, lounge chairs, umbrellas, body boards, sand toys etc. Plus you can order food! We absolutely cannot wait to go back!! I miss Tulenar already.

Amazing property with attention to every detail. Loved having our own concierge to help with questions. Service to the beach was helpful and appreciated. Loved the restaurant by the pool and especially the pool. The sloth tour was incredible that is why we stayed at Tulemar. Loved all the monkeys as well. Stay minimum 3 days to see wildlife and enjoy the beach. We were warned that our room was by the street and was noisy. But it was very noisy with motorcycles. But they stopped around 10:30. Other than that small negative everything was incredible. Nicest place we have ever stayed and can’t wait to go back.

We loved our stay in Luxury Standard Room 209 at Tulemar. We saw squirrel monkeys daily from our balcony, and toucans, sloths, scarlet macaws, leaf-cutter ants, frogs, bats, and iguanas on the grounds also. The private beach was never crowded, and we appreciated the complimentary umbrellas and chairs, as well as the ability to order food and drinks from Tule Cafe while on the beach. The Sloth Walk with Pedro was great - we saw at least 10. The food at Tule Cafe was very good - we had breakfast, the bbq burger, and the pulled pork taquitos - all great. We had a rental car and could easily park at the base of our room's walkway (about 4-5 free parking spaces by each area). We never needed the shuttles, as we either took our own car or walked on the grounds. The staff were alway so nice too. A wonderful stay.

Where to start? Our time spent at Tulemar Resort was definitely one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had in my life. I can’t even begin to describe the stunning beauty I witnessed there. The awe inspiring views of the ocean and jungle were absolutely breathtaking. Honestly, it felt like I was dreaming every morning I woke up and opened the window treatments. The location of this resort is absolutely perfect. My family stayed at one of the Tulemar bungalows. They have floor to ceiling windows with truly phenomenal views. The bungalows are fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. Housekeeping does a great job cleaning and stocking everything daily. A nice walk-in shower, two comfortable queen beds, a pullout couch, and a nice little private deck with a million dollar view. To add to the million dollar view, you’re greeted by squirrel or Capuchin monkey's daily. The wildlife is such an added bonus, it was one of my favorite parts of our trip. The 3 different species of monkeys…Howlers, Capuchins, & Squirrel monkeys. Not to mention, Marine Iguana’s, Gecko’s, Toucan’s, Macaw’s, & Sloth's to name a few. The lush greenery there is absolutely beautiful, and truly memorable. Before I sign off, I most definitely have to mention the Tulemar Café staff we had the pleasure to meet. Simon, Jordi, & Daniel were our waiters that made an everlasting impression. They took such great care of us, and they’re truly genuine human beings who showed us the meaning of Pura Vida!

Lovely resort but let down by poor service. Gorgeous surroundings but not 5 * service. Check in unimpressive and made to feel second class. They rushed off and then made us wait. To be fair they knocked stuff off bill when we complained at check out. Would be helpful to be shown around when checking in. Great beach. Great nature. Good restaurants nearby.

The most special thing about this property is the abundant wildlife that is unique to Costa Rica. We had monkeys, iguanas and a toucan right outside our patio area. You can take a sloth walk and learn their habits and locations. Jans, our concierge, was very helpful in arranging several tours for us, transportation, and a grocery order. The restaurants and pools on site were also great. You can swim while you watch monkeys and sloths. Views vary by location on the property, ours happened to be spectacular. The beach was beautiful but it's hard to see the jellyfish in the cloudy water. The property is on a very steep slope but shuttles run frequently. We visited for one week in July and did not have weather ruin any plans.

The place is absolutely amazing. It’s like staying in a zoo. Saw monkeys, sloths and macaws from our window and a monkey on our deck. Beach is amazing, pools are great, and staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Honestly, we weren’t that amazed by the park after staying at Tulemar because there was so much wildlife and such beautiful grounds. Would give it more than 5 stars if possible. Probably the most beat resort we’ve ever stayed at!
