Excellent. Warmly greeted on arrival. Full hot breakfast included, Character property well situated in Windermere. I would definitely stay here again.

What we liked was it was handy for the station and a nice walk to bowness as neither me or my wife drive so the hotel was ideal

We stayed at the Coppice for a 2 night birthday treat. The hosts, Neil & Beverley, are so friendly and remembered little facts about us which gave it the personal touch. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely go back :)

Really enjoyed the stay.The only reason we couldn't give 5 stars was the room was a little chilly but appointed well and clean. ( This may have been as it was the room closest to the entrance?).Breakfast was included and delicious.

Myself & wife had a 2 night stay in Room 1 with a fabulous Bath and 4 poster Bed. Room was clean and comfortable and with tea and coffee Facilities with Top up condiments in Reception area , Location is ideal. Price Reasonable. Contract direct for better price

Lovely stay at The Coppice. Everything explained fully on arrival. Breakfast room, entrance hall, stairs, all lovely, warm and inviting. Room had everything to enhance our stay. Short walk up to Windermere and slightly longer down to Bowness. Hosts excellent.. Would highly recommend.

Good location in Windermere, close to Bowness too. We stayed in Room 1. Big spacious room with piping hot water for the bathtub. It was a little noisy due to the room being at the front of the property with cars. Breakfast was nice, although served pretty early for a weekend 08:15-09:15, forms to be returned evening before. Bed was comfy and room had everything you needed.

My wife and I spent a weekend at this property. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by Beverley which was really nice. We got shown into our room and it was quite small for our stay, not much room to move around. We woke up in the morning to a sodden windowsill as the condensation was unreal. The blind has mold on it as it must sit in the condensation that pools on the windowsill. The breakfast was quite poor, the sausage was undercooked especially.

A very warm and friendly welcome on arrival. Told of all the best places to eat and which ones to avoid. Rooms all warm, and plenty of hot water for showers. For breakfast you had a good selection of freshly cooked food.

excellent hosts very welcoming and knowledgeable which enhanced our stay. we stayed in room 8 which was lovely only thing for us was the low and slanted ceilings maybe should be in room description and small shower room. we would probably have picked another room to book, however this will not put us off booking again would highly recommend. nice little walk into windermere and not to far to walk down to bowness so a great location. breakfast was lovely, not usually a fan of pre ordering but we had full english both days and again really good quality local produce.

Beverley gave us a very warm and detailed welcome to the Coppice and to the local amenities. Very nice guest house.

Loved the location. Lots of breakfast options. Beverley was an amazing host. Nothing too much trouble. Found there was a lack of a dressing table but no big issue. Loved it.
