The hotel is very conveniently located, pretty much on top of the main station. It's only a 10-15min walk from the city centre, and everything you will need for attractions, entertainment and food, is within this radius. The room was reasonably priced; well-stocked; comfortable, and clean. The check in and out processes were easy, and the staff were very polite. Overall, I had a nice time here, and I would stay here again if I returned to Odense.

Do NOT stay here. This is the most horrible experience I ever have in my life. There are lots of hidden fees. I was overcharged 250. The person at the front desk was very rude and unprofessional. The room is cold, dirty, and smelly. I can hear clearly from the room next to me. Expedia is on the hotel side and not customer side. Do NOT stay here!!!

Ok for an easy stay in central Odense. It's a place for sleeping and nothing more, which is ok. There were no instructions on how to check out before the reception opened, and no place to put my key so I just had to leave it there..

Though the room was nice, but it was a bit overpriced and bed linens were not included in the price of the room.

Checkin times were extremely limited, no other hostel we stayed in was so restricted and inflexible. Shame as the hostel itself was great and of a very high standard.

Nusset i krogene, klistret på overfladerne, man kunne mærke fjedrene i sengen, vinduet kunne ikke lukkes ordentligt - alt i alt en lidt kedelig oplevelse. Trænger til en omgang maling og opgradering.

Vi havde fortalt at min mor var dårlig gående og ikke kunne se vi fik ikke oplyst og vi skulle gå i kælderen hvis man skulle spise af sig selv lave mad det synes vi jeg er dårligt meget dårligt samt trappen udenfor hovedindgangen skulle man måske tænke på at se i gelænder op det samme indenfor ved trappen

Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, allerdings war die Matratze und das Bettzeug sehr dreckig

I spent four nights at Danhostel and had a great experience. The accommodation is in a strategic location—very close to the station and just a short walk from the city center. The option to cook and the shared common area in the basement are big advantages. Last but not least, the staff were always kind and helpful, accommodating different needs, including a late check-in.
