This is a multi wedding venue posing as a family resort. There are not 10 restaurants, building 6 is the noisy backdrop for wedding music in your room until 11pm each night, and only one noisy bar to walk to after 6pm. I was charged $420/night extra bc one son is 14. but we could not go to the French restaurant bc my other son is 8. There are zero places to hang out after 6 as a family, unless you count running around the property to avoid the hordes of vampire mosquitoes. My wife was covered by mosquitoes in 1 minute at the otherwise beautiful spa pool. At least the staff was super friendly, and paying extra for preferred got us a Bali bed and beach chairs every day. Wait, why did I have to pay extra for a beach vacation???

We really enjoyed the Mermaid Pool and Tides.

Everyone was so friendly. It’s a huge property with lots of pools. The food is good, not great. Our room was clean. I wish the beach had been better. Water isn’t very blue.

Its the largest resort we've stayed in, so there was a lot more walking than I expected. I loved the fact that there are 5 different pool areas to choose from. Loved the lazy river. Loved the spa experience. Wish maybe 1 more eating area, considering the resort holds a lot of people. Also, maybe consider StarLink satelite for internet in the Prefered Lounge area would be nice.

Got injured on site and hotel staff referred us to an affiliated hospital that participates in tourist extortion and got charged Thousands of US Dollars for a minor procedure.

Upon arrival, we were escorted to our room which was flooded from recent rain. Staff called for cleaning and two women arrived. I asked to be relocated to another room as I was not about to have to deal with flooding should it rain again. Reluctantly, the escort brought us back to the check in desk.

Beautiful stay and not crowded. We went in September and the beach had lots of seaweed that the resort tried to manage. The food was great!

This hotel was amazing

Beautiful property - need the tubs on the balconies changed, appear very old and stained. Then there are the very, very hard working staff - worked tirelessly to provide clean environment all the time. They were always very friendly, seeking to be of assistance. Dinning service staff were excellent as well. Overall, great property, awesome view and amenities

The food/dining staff was exceptional. I didn't rate it a 5 star because I wish there were more dining options, however, the few that are available offer exceptional service. The staff is very accommodating and friendly.

We used Mexico Travel Solutions to pick us up from the airport and take us back to the airport. We had to wait about 40 minutes to get transported to the resort. Shuttle service was early waiting at the resort when we left, we used the shared shuttle. The resort was great. The beach could have been improved, there was alot of seaweed on the beach throughout our stay. Restaurants were good including the buffet. Rooms were big and nice. Overall great resort, we did not travel with children, but we felt resort was very kid friendly with lots of activities for children.

A Deep Decline in Quality – Our Worst Dreams Stay Yet After many pleasant stays at Dreams Resorts, our recent experience post-Hyatt acquisition was a letdown, especially on my 40th birthday. While the rooms remained clean and spacious, most staff appeared indifferent, and the overall experience was disappointing. Key Issues: 1. Lack of Poolside Food Service: A major oversight for a five-star resort, requiring inconvenient walks to the buffet or restaurants, especially with young children. 2. Poor Food Quality: Expectations were already low for all-inclusive dining, but the food was often bland or inedible, with long room service waits. 3. Misleading Views: The coveted ocean views in the lobby did not translate to restaurant locations, forcing us to dine indoors away from the scenery. 4. Unsafe Water Slides: Our daughters sustained injuries due to poorly designed splash areas, making them hesitant to enjoy the facilities. 5. Dirty Pools: The pools were poorly maintained; water was often cloudy, and there were hygiene issues noted by guests. 6. Deceptive Timeshare Offers: Timeshare pitches promised "preferred" areas which were disappointing and poorly maintained. 7. Excessive Noise: Loud music from events disrupted our evenings, making rest nearly impossible. 8. Unsafe Excursions: A snorkeling tour organized by the resort posed safety risks, with strong currents endangering guests. In summary, what was once a reliable choice for family vacations has sharply declined
