Breakfast was plentiful and pleasant

I want to make a special mention of the young tall gentleman who served us breakfast on 25th, 26th, and 27th July. He was courteous, friendly and made us feel special. God Bless him in his endeavours.

Breakfast was great. Room was comfortable and the wine was a nice addition

Nothing special, was a bed to sleep and shower to use. Was close to downtown, check in team was a tad- just a tad dis organized. I would stay again, just know its not a 5 star! Staff were absolutely fantastic though

Amazing staff, clean space, comfortable room and good food too. The only thing is the electric system that tends to make really alot of noise as if there was a voltage overload. We unplugged the fridge due to the heaviness of it and even the TV+ climatize air made this huge sound that wakes us up at night. If it was not that, it would have been a 5star note.

Room was clean. Staff were nice . Breakfast options were way above average. Nice location close to downtown and short drive to signal hill and Cape spear. Located in a quiet neighborhood. Nice to have the kitchenette to prepare tea and small meals if you want .

Staff in the morning were great. The male staff member the night prior was incredibly rude and unhelpful.

It was ok. The room I was in was very nice. Didn’t like the curtains covered the ac/heating unit. The curtains were not room darkening. The rooms the company we were travelling with that booked there as well. Those rooms were not nice at all. If i book there again I would request the room I had stayed in. As the other rooms in the hotel had the jet tub right next to the side of the bed, the suits outside across from the hotel, bathrooms were very small with standup shower with very small sink, no place to lay personal items on it.

Our stay was ok. The staff was nice and helpful and the room was comfortable. My only complaint is that the sheets were polyester which I hate.

Iv stayed here a few times in the past ,nothing really changed only updated to keep with the times like anything ,would totally recommend

I thought I booked a hotel room, but when I checked in it was outside the hotel, more like a motel room. That is not what I wanted. It had an outside door and again that’s not what I wanted or booked, l booked a hotel room. I didn’t sleep as I was nervous all night with being in a room that opened up to outside. We did enjoy the complimentary breakfast and staff were great.

All day breakfast was included with our booking.

On the breakfast menu one of the choices was fruit, yogourt and granola. One morning they had no yogourt and another morning they had no fruit. Since it is a health spa hotel I was disappointed that they weren't on top of having enough fruit and yogourt.

Lovely quiet area of St. John’s. Just a km walk from George street. The only fault was our television was out of order. The breakfast included was lovely. No buffet! Yay! I’d recommend to guests who would prefer a quiet stay with ample parking.

My recent stay at Monastery was not a pleasant experience. The bed had dead flies and human nails in them along with unexplained stains. When we asked about housekeeping, they were only available at 5 PM and after. We would have been at the hotel room at that time and it wasnt a convenient time for us to have the house keeping do the "refresh" in our room. So we left it as is as there was nothing we could do.We simply did a clean ourselves so that we could sleep in the beds at night. Next, exhaust fan in our washroom wasnt working and we did notify the hotel about this. They didnt do anything about it or give us another room with a working exhaust fan. All the toiletries provided in the room were sparse so we had to go ask multiple times at the reception for replenishment- not a convenient thing. I should add though that the Bistro staff was nice and pleasant to interact with. As for my feedback, I suggest that hotel management do a better job in the housekeeping and maintenance department along with customer service for its patrons. Thanks
