The hotel was generally ok, but the room air conditioning smelled like Mildew. The rooms were also small and dark and not very much sunlight. The shower and toilet were really close to the bed, and sometimes the shower would leak water to the bathroom. This hotel is good if you need a quick place to stay and they even offer a shuttle to the biggest Night Market in Taichung.

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the hotel twin double beds room. The hotel kept in touch with us via expedia messages, before our check in day, they have already helped us with directions parking availabilities etc., very responsive. The hotel has a free shuttle van that can take us between the hotel and the FengJia night market very thoughtful, we really appreciate this service.

The room I stayed must be full if bugs. I was bitten so hard on my arms over the first night. I called the staff and they don’t care about the bug situation nor my condition at all. When I requested cancellation for remaining nights, they simply oush back to Orbitz and pretend that they have language barrier. Waht a SICK place!

The dining area was so small that we had to wait for seats for having breakfast. Also, we could hear noise from other rooms in our room.

The room was beautiful and elegant. Spacious and clean. No problems at all and it was a pleasant stay each night. But what really makes this hotel shine is the service. We’ve had problems with service at other hotels in Taiwan during our trip - Not here, the service was PHENOMENALLY GOOD. Every time you enter the front door, the 2 staffs at the desk will very politely smile, nod and greet you. One staff then walks you all the way to the lift, presses the button, waits for you to enter, and then does a low japanese bow and wishes you a good stay or a good night, depending on what time you’re entering. He remains bowed until your lift goes up. Every time you go down from the lift, the same pleasant greetings are given. I couldnt believe this was an inexpensive hotel, because the service made us feel like royalty here. Next, the 24/7 snacks and drinks lounge. There’s a cozy spot right at the lobby, featuring free 24/7 biscuits, candies/snacks. I especially loved all the biscuits offered there - had never seen them before and were very delicious. Very useful when you’re hungry upon checking in on returning to the hotel, or when you’re leaving for the day with little time to eat. There’s also this delicious yoghurt drink to quench your thirst. Finally, there’s a FREE shuttle bus service to-and-fro to the nearby Feng Chia night market. (Definitely worth your visit) We went there every night since the shuttle was so convenient! Best hotel ever at a great price, no regrets!!!

The hotel is very clean and brand-new with nice art, comfortable furniture, and lovely decore. Only problem is that the room is extremely small and our window opened up to an open space folding a hot water heater and other equipment... absolutely no view! For such a tiny room, we were quite comfortable and the staff were lovely. The breakfast was also disappointing. There was good WIFI and we appreciated the free parking, even though it was accessed with an elevator and required hoisting our car to make space for other cars.

They have a ferry service to fengjia night market free of charge. Room was good. Service was good. Breakfast was mediocre though. There are other breakfast places around so it’s fine. If breakfast is not your key area of a hotel, this place is perfect.

Room is very spacious, more than enough space to open up luggages and still be able to walk around easily. Staffs at the reception are very friendly. No noise disturbances around the hotel and it is still within acceptable walking distance to Feng Jia night market. Ru Yi sunny cake is just opposite the hotel. Overall pleasant stay!

The location of the hotel served us well as we needed to travel to various parts of Taichung. We did not have time to walk around the hotel but there is a big shop that specialises in "sunny cakes" right across the street. You can actually sit down to taste the cakes and enjoy a cup of tea in the shop. As mentioned in other reviews, the hotel provides a shuttle to the Fengjia night market within a 5-min ride...which was very convenient. We found the bed and pillows a little too soft to our liking. There is no wardrobe in the room except for a big hook extension which could hold a few hangers. Just a note of caution, the light fixture next to our beds (above the side table) has a hook which is part of the design. If you happen to bend down next to the fixture low enough to reach for something on the side table (while standing), your head may hit the hook....which was what happened to me and I had a bad and painful bruise.

The staffs are very polite and friendly, location close Fengjia night market, environment is quiet, the room is clean, it would be great if more hooks in the toilet or room for clothes. Overall it was a very good stay.

Value for money, very helpful and friendly staff. Toilet and bathroom is separate thought. Near to the famous Feng Jia Night Market too, 10 to 15 minutes stroll.

A little distance away from the night market. Otherwise it was cosy and quiet with nice ambience. It would be better to install hangers or towel rails in the bathroom for convenience.
