This property is a true 2 star motel. It didn't work for our family and could work in other situations. It smelled of disinfectant and there was dirt in the corners of the windows. There was a spider and it's web in the bathroom just to give you an idea of the attention to detail when cleaning. We saw the room and had to leave.

It was dirty and smelly!!!!!!!!!

Family and pet friendly

We booked this based on a picture , very ran down , gym doesn't work , rusty showers with clogged drains and broken faucets - we wont be coming back ever again not worth the money and very poor communication skills from the staff didn't understand English at all .

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful.Pool is unheated which was rather chilly.

Bed was reasonably comfortable. Wish the pool had been open. There was black mold on bathroom ceiling. The shower pipes whistled in the wall. Walls are thin as I was awoken around 3am by people arguing outside. TV cable selection was basic. Location is tricky to find.

Very caring and understanding with my late arrival. The room was spacious, super comfortable bed, and clean throughout.

Ok. Plug in bathroom sink is missing. Table is a low bistro table. Not nice to work on a laptop or eat at it. Totally unsafe WiFi password. Internet very weak. Not sure why the motel feels two small dogs make the room dirtier than one, i.e. charge double without any service (bowl, towel, feet washing option outside).

We thought we found a good deal of a motel room in Hope BC via Hotel.Com. Turns out you get what you pay for. This is a very old motel and the property shows it. Everything are from the 1970's. The decors and the furniture are all 50 years old. It really needed upgrading and renovations.

We were given a welcoming reception by the front desk staff who personally escorted us to our room and came back to help us navigate the television set up. She was polite, cheerful and informative.The Inn is an older property and in need of some upgrades but everything was in working condition and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the room had a new mini fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee maker. It was also large and well furnished with a table and two chairs, sofa and dresser. Our registration/receipt was ready on our arrival and our check out was simply a matter of returning the key. We enjoyed our stay.

Was my first stay in hope and this staff was friendly the rooms was clean, older but still very comfortable beds . As I had a family room with 3 beds . No kitchen but microwave and coffee . I definitely would go back when in town for sports

This property is dated but is in the renovation process. Check-in was fast; staff extremely helpful to the point of offering to help unload my car. As a solo senior traveler, I would stay here again.

No water in the pool. Comfortable bed. Warm, safe and relaxing.

Clean room friendly staff moutions views around area

Slumber Lodge was probably great in 1970; however, it lacks some of the finer qualities of a motel/hotel in the 21st century. If you just need a place to sleep for a couple of days it fits the bill. Staff were helpful and the room was clean. The AC unit was rusted and needed repair as were some of the other amenities but it served our purpose.

Easy check-in & the room was clean. We were just really disappointed that the pool was drained of water & unusable because we specifically chose it for that reason.

I have the family room for 4 adults. Room is clean, beds are comfortable. All in all good.

When we go over they have dog hairs in room not good cleaning

This is a budget motel, but while dated/run-down, the room was clean and quiet. The mattress was clearly newer, and very comfortable. The property was tidy, and felt safe. My only complaint is that the pool was not available, which wasn’t a big problem, but would have been nice to know when booking, not when arriving. I would stay here again.
