A lot of recent reviews seem to be critical but for me the hotel was fine, clean, comfortable, quiet, only 30 minutes walk to the theatre, and as cheap as I could find for a one night stay.

Our recent stay was disappointing, beginning with room 11 on the first floor, which lacked net curtains on the street-facing windows, leaving us exposed . It was one of the hottest days of the year; the fan was ineffective, prompting a replacement. Next, we encountered a leaky shower door that nearly flooded the bathroom. The shower door trim was hanging off. We were then moved to room 7 on the ground floor, facing the car park, where the sash window required a clothes hanger to remain open. Having visited this hotel 14 years ago, it was evident that the standards have significantly declined, and the entire establishment is in urgent need of an overhaul.

Great village with eateries and pubs. Easy walk to town, plenty of parking and lovely big rooms

Toilet hadn’t been cleaned properly. Outside seating areas had ashtrays that hadn’t been emptied. Room was next to front door so really noisy. Hottest room I’ve ever stayed in as no air con, just a fan to move the air around. Window couldn’t be left open as the catch can be opened to allow it to open all the way on the ground floor. Guest staying was noisy and behaving erratically and as there are no staff at night I had to phone someone to help her get back into her room by locating a key. She then continued to bang on my door into the early hours asking to use my phone and then to help her with something else. Managed to get about two hours sleep before she woke me again arguing with her companion and slamming the front door. She banged on my door at 5am. Before I just went for a walk at 6am then drove off before 7 to sit in a car park for 2 hours before the meeting I was due in. Even had to phone the police to do a welfare check on her because I was so worried about her. Awful night. Mattress is so far beyond its best days it was uncomfortable.

The one night stay was fine, the person at reception coukd have been abit mire welcoming but he made a good gin n tonic so will let him off :). The room was spacious , bed was comfortable but needed air con as quite warm especially in an upstairs room. The shower also did not drain properly. Fine for 1 night, good pub close by for dinner.

Good size room. Comfortable bed. Like the fridge/freezer in the room. When someone was on reception, they were efficient.

Nice little hotel on the outskirts of Stratford upon Avon. Perfectly suitable for a short stay. Would advise that don't do cooked breakfasts.

Very welcoming on arrival. Room was ideal for two of us , clean and comfortable. Receptionists was very informative about helpful when asking about local area for eating etc . Continental breakfast well worth the money quite a bit of variety .

Our room was ground floor at the front of the building which is on a main road. There was a large bay window without nets or blinds so passers by were looking straight into our room. The staff were pleasant and the continental breakfast was lovely and substantial.

The hotel served my needs perfectly. An affordable stay with all the amenities I required and all for £55.

Very comfortable room with separate bedroom and lounge area. Very reasonable price, warm and peaceful. Everything we wanted.

Young man that was in charge was excellent, service and care taken was brilliant. He would make an excellent general manager.

Clean and spacious room. Sited at front of hotel, though traffic noise from main road was not an issue. Mini fridge was noisy and pillows not v soft, though slept ok. Good location for Stratford, and good for what we needed.

Place needs completing as many issues going on fridge off with old food produce left inside, shower falling to bits, no hot breakfast at the weekend but was on their website. Good points aswell lovely room

Carpet was filthy. Bathroom had spiders crawling around. Shower was mouldy. TV remote did not work as batteries were down.

Close enough for a long walk to Stratford centre or a short Uber ride. Limited bar opening hours. Clean, comfortable and reasonably quiet.

Almost perfect! Only downsides were that the shower didn’t drain particularly well so leaked onto the bathroom floor if you were in it for more than 5 minutes and that the mattress needs replacing as it’s sunk and you can feel the springs. Other than that everything about the studio apartment was fantastic and incredible value for money!

We liked having a kitchenette, as well as an anteroom off the bedroom. Two restaurants and a grocery store were near us. We were less than 2 miles from town. Thank you.

Very disappointing. Having stayed here several times previously this was not the same experience. Prior to arrival payment had been taken. This was a first having stay in many hotels UK wide. On arrival on friday afternoon we were abruptly told no breakfast tomorrow due to a kitchen problem. We were subsequently advised no cook was available. We were offer a cooked breakfast on Sunday morning however we declined. The general Cleanliness inside and out was very poor. Externally, dity patio and patio furniture. Internally we requested the numerous cobwebs and spiders be removed from our room. No house keeping was present which resulted in us requesting fresh towels and toilet rolls when we caught someone at reception. All in all very disappointing.
