My single room was dated and smaller than I thought but it did not bother me a great deal as I was only there for 1 night, with carry-on luggage. Amenities in the room include PJs/yukata, slippers, dehumidifier, toiletries, towels, wifi, luggage stand, shoe shine, shoe horn and etc. Sheets were clean as per usual japanese standards. The reasons I chose this hotel were because of their natural onsen waters and the breakfast. The indoor onsen and its natural waters was as expected per description on their website. The outdoor onsen on the rooftop however, was excellent for hot soak on a winter night, coupled with snow flakes gently falling down onto the rooftop. It was absolutely perfection. The toiletries in the indoor onsen are also decent - shampoo, body wash, conditioner, facial foaming wash and facial cleansing oil, the usual suspects. Access to the rooftop onsen is via indoor onsen in B1 where you get a series of stairs that led up to the rooftop. Fear not, the stairs are completely covered on the outside, all the way from B1 to the rooftop so you won't have to worry about any peeping toms, albeit a brief moment in the cold as you walk up the stairs from B1 to the rooftop. Breakfast was a scrumptious affair - fresh seafood, hot food, salads, yoghurt, ochazuke, rice, soups, hokkaido rice and the lot. There was even a freezer for ice-cream, which I could not tackle as I was stuffed. Location is unfortunately a distance away from both Odori Park and the underground walkway.
