Outstanding hotel. Superb food. Caring staff. I rate it 5 stars.

Was thoroughly impressed with all aspects of my stay and would highly recommend staying here.

Easy to drive to the hotel. The room was great - quite plush. We stayed in the modern part. Bar and restaurant area was fun. Music at dinner could have just been a recording. The band was uninspiring. The food was incredibly salty. My wife had to return her fish dish because it was too salty to eat. My steak was also very salty. Breakfast was a bit lightweight, but the poached eggs were the best we had tried all week at various other hotels. Staff were all very kind.

Very friendly staff , food was lovely . Stayed in the new build facilities , rooms were very well presented and in an art deco style . Looking forward to the new build spa opening in September, we’ll be back

This is a beautiful hotel, the castle is lovely but the new building is gorgeous. The room was a good size and was very tastefully decorated, and we had plenty of tea and coffee. The staff are very friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice, served in the main bar area.

Everything everyone was great

The staff were very courteous and nothing seemed like too much trouble. The room was spotless and very quiet. The staff were very helpful for checking in and checking out. I don’t think it’s because of my disabilities I think they were just very helpful. Breakfast was very good. With a range of juices and fruits. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Here’s a polished, ready-to-post review: Crossbasket Castle & Hotel has to be one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The room was absolutely beautiful, thoughtfully designed and elegantly decorated and the bathroom was spacious and luxurious. Breakfast was outstanding, with fantastic quality and choice. Most of all, the service truly stood out: every member of staff was attentive, welcoming, and professional. A wonderful experience from start to finish, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a special stay.

What can you say, you stay in a castle how neat is that. So warm and inviting. You are welcomed and taken care of. Everything is wonderful.

Soundproofing between floors was a problem for our stay. Left feeling very tired. No noise from either side, only floor above.

Exactly has advertised. Beautiful building and grounds.
