If you are after a truly Swedish experience, this must be it. Located next to a lake, which gives it its name, the hotel offers old world charm. An excellent breakfast and good dinner round it off. Just keep in mind that this is an historic property so rooms are a little smaller but cozy and with good beds.

Very friendly staff and beautiful hotel. My staff was just before Christmas and therefore the hotel was decorated beautifully!

Arrived on Sunday around lunchtime, and the kitchen made me a sandwich as they were not doing lunch. Thank you, above and beyond in my opinion

Great hotel, perfect for my needs as a solo traveler. Easy and immediate access to the forest and lakes. Friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is located next to a lake and close to the forest. You can walk in to the center of the small town in 10-12 minutes. We were only two (2) guests at the hotel due to these corona-affected times, so the number of staff and operating hours in the lobby was limited, Regardless, the service was good and check-in was smooth and nice. No buffet breakfast, but they served an excellent breakfast at your table. The single room I booked was small, but not exceptional, and the bed was very comfortable. Many of the things you usually could do was closed, such as using swimming pool, sauna, etc. The few staff was very friendly and service minded. Even though the hotel is a bit old, it is nice, clean and price worthy. I was very satisfied with my stay!

Läget bland skog och vatten skapar en avkopplande miljö som vi tyckte väldigt mycket om. Vad som också imponerade var att pool, bubbelpool och parkering, som oftast kostar extra på andra hotell, ingick. Med läge, faciliteter och den stilla atmosfären är det lätt att förstå varför vi redan planerar att återkomma. Ett extra tack till Ulrika vid frukosten för jättebra service och fint bemötande!

Nice hotel at a beautiful location. Food in the restaurant was really good.

Mycket mysigt hotell med bra restaurang och bra pooler som hela familjen uppskattade (trebarnsfamilj från 2 till 10 år). Även fin natur och badsjö med hopptorn just bredvid hotellet.

Excellent value for money. A very good hotel for the price, and everything met our expectations. We would happily stay here again.

Kanonbra hotel och omgivning

Utroligt lækkert hotel i idylliske og rolige omgivelser i udkanten af skoven og lige ved søen. Restauranten var hyggelig og maden smagte fantastisk. Morgen buffet blev fyldt løbende og der manglede aldrig noget. Pool, spa og sauna var lækkert og fint rent. Det er virkelig et besøg værd.
