Lovely room with balcony overlooking valley. Rooftop infinity pool and bar with fabulous views. Very friendly helpful staff. Good food.

We loved our stay at Onrock Hotel. The view was amazing and the infinity pool perfect after a day sightseeing. The staff especially Kavindu extremely helpful. Very close to the Main Street without being noisy. Loved our stay!!!

There was no housekeeping drive in our room when we checked-in. The floor was dusty, there were insects , lizards , cobwebs , spiders and everything else you can imagine in our room. The staff was not at all cooperative. The quality of the materials used for construction in the room are very poor. Not at all value for money. Only the staff at the restaurant were friendly and accomodating. The air conditioner in the room also started leaking.

Hi this is a slightly more expensive for the area but for us it was worth it. There was a hidden surprise for us as they have an infinity pool on the roof and sundeck which had views to die for. The breakfast was excellent the games room was fun and the staff took no hesitation to join in with playing games with my son. Room was lovely and staff amazing and great location for short walk into Ella to explore. But quite expensive is only negative

I was here for one night with my family. The staff was excellent particularly the front desk staff and Supun. Everyone gave us a warm welcome and answered our questions. Supun in particular was very patient and helpful with my elderly parents . The hotel is also located in the heart of Ella ‘s hustle and bustle and we had great views of the sunset and sunrise. Breakfast was also great . A variety to choose from. Would come back here next time I visit Ella .

Lovely gem in the hills of Ella

The room was clean and we had good views from our balcony. Breakfast was nice too, they had a good variety but maybe could have a little more choice. The saff were really lovely and very friendly. We had a good stay at this hotel.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and courteous. The room was ok, clean, small and basic. The location could be a big problem for some as situated around 200m up a very very steep hill often wet, which cars and tuk tuks also found difficult. There are some beautiful views although not from our side if the hotel - just unfinished hotels. We had breakfast which was well presented but basic - we stayed 3 nights but went into the centre for evening meals. Lots to see if the weather allows - 1 night too many for us as it was so rainy in mid November. Overall very nice hotel and staff.

We had a short trip to Ella and booked Hotel Onrock for one night. The hotel is at the top of a steep hill and was a bit tricky to find but once we found it, I could not fault anything about the hotel. It was very clean and well maintained. The staff were all very friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The room was extremely spacious and the view from our balcony was breathtaking. The highlight for me was the restaurant. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and both meals were very tasty and had a variety of cuisines on offer. All the kitchen staff were very caring and went to a lot of effort to make sure we enjoyed our meals.

Excellent. Clean and comfortable with magnificent views. They are building an infinite pool on the roof that should be ready in a few months. The views will be even more spectacular. Breakfast was also very good. Interesting, fresh and tasty. The staff were very attentive. I would happily come back
