Very comfortable and quiet

Good place to stay

The highlight of going to Chatham is visiting a friend and staying at this hotel. I have now stayed in three different rooms and I get excited opening the door to see what my room might look like. Conveniently located, right downtown shadow, you can eat at the attached restaurant or walk to any of the other grade spots in the downtown core. The gym is actually not on the property but instead access is given to guests at the hotel to use very well equipped fit for less just across the parking lot. Less convenient in the winter, but certainly not a big deal to pop over in the nice weather. The only downside is that there is not a coffee maker in the room. I love having a cup of coffee in my pajamas. I’m not having to see anyone. I did learn on this day that if I reached out ahead of time, they can put a coffee maker in your room, they do have a few kicking around. You will definitely not be disappointed with a stay at retro suites.

They bumped us up to a big apartment. Very cozy and quiet. My complain is singular but a big deal. The TV wasn’t smart. I couldn’t stream to them or connect my phone via cable and no apps. There was just satellite TB which is literally the same 5 shows over and over again. The staff was very eager to help and tried to accommodate us. I have no ill feelings at all just wanna say to the management, upgrade the TVs if you want younger people to return. Great rooms but also boring when it’s raining and no entertainment.

Loved this property! Exception staff with quick and easy check in. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and gave detailed directions to our destination while we were there. Retro decor was awesome. Definitely the nicest hotel we’ve been to.

We like to stay at Retro Suites as it’s always such a refreshing experience. This stay however when we entered our room we were greeted with a horrible smell of dirty sewage and the room was uncomfortably hot. We had to go for a walk and leave the window open as we couldn’t spend time in the room. Overnight was okay then the smell was worse in the morning. We will stay again but hoping to regain our confidence in Retro next time.

Staff very courteous. Room was clean and very spacious. The rooms are themed and honestly would not have chosen the one I was given (harley davidson - motorcycles). Nevertheless I was not going to request another solely for that reason,
