Clean and spacious room in a very nice area

The room was spacious, the staff was exceptional, and breakfast was always appreciated! Our room had a beach view on the 10th floor, which was lovely to look at. The rooms are quiet and nicely soundproofed - our 5 year old was doing cartwheels in the room and dancing around constantly and thanks to the soundproofing, it didn't seem to make a lot of noise. We would definitely return and stay in one of the king rooms again!

The room was spacious and in a great location. The pool area was warm and my daughter really enjoyed the ability to swim (though the chlorine levels were really high.) Staff was exceptional and breakfast was always fresh. When they didn't have decaf coffee available in the breakfast buffet machines, they kindly made sure to get a latte for me from the cafe next door. The only reason for the 4 stars on some elements was the shower in our room could have used a bit more attention, as there were spots with mold and our room carpets could have used a cleaning beyond the vacuum. (Things you find out with a 5 year old running around on the ground.)

My wife and I have stayed at the Hyatt Centric in Montevideo for the second time and have always enjoyed the experience, atmosphere, and really friendly staff.

Very friendly staff, beautiful bar and fantastic breakfast buffet. We stayed in the standard room and it was very comfortable, large and clean. Only small gripe is that you have to chromecast to the TV which can be a hassle and it would be nice to watch local stations sometimes!

centric suite was spacious and had everything you need. breakfast was good ( we paid to have it included) front desk was perfect and the chivito is amazing...from room service...will stay here again.

we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was our first time visiting Montevideo. There were two areas where we spent several hours. The first one was the cafeteria, the attention from the young guys was EXCELLENT! I’m sorry for not including their names but I erased the note where i wrote them. Our favorite desserts were the lemon pie and the alfajor de coco. The second area was the little bar next to the cafeteria, the food and drinks were really good. The area that needs some improvement is the Restaurant Plantado. It wasn’t about the quality of the food that was excellent but the waiters. we stayed at the hotel for 7 nights, and we didn’t like the attention they offered during breakfast, they didn’t smile at us, they looked annoyed most of the time, just doing “their job”, i had written a previous review where i mentioned this matter and still think the same, if the hotel got new waiters with better attitude, as the guys that work at the cafeteria, your hotel will get the highest rates.

La propiedad es muy linda, nos gustó mucho el área alrededor del hotel con restaurantes, centro comercial, etc. Puedes caminar en forma segura por los alrededores. en mi opinión, el staff del front desk, la cafetería y el bar son sumamente atentos. La atención del staff del restaurante donde tomas el desayuno deja mucho que desear, excepto por una chica llamada Julieta, el resto lo hemos visto mal encarado sin ganas de servir, aún cuando se ofrece buffet, pueden pasar por las mesas, ofrecerte más café, agua, y tal vez una sonrisa, pero evidentemente, es muy difícil hacerlo. No entendemos la actitud del personal en el restaurante, porque el resto de los empleados tienen una actitud de 10.

Hotel was very modern with a very inviting lounge area. Good breakfast and quiet room.

I really liked Hyatt Centric Hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the room clean.

They accomodated us with a room 3 hours before check-in without a problem. Very friendly staff, excellent restaurant, patient with my broken spanish. Would stay again!
