Amazing staff, nice pool but theres no restaurant, bar or grocery near by. You definitely need a car. Very far from city center but still very nice.

The staff was amazing cleaning of the room was good but overall needs some renovations for the price was paid. We would stay again in future nevertheless

I enjoyed my stay , good value for money and the area around is magic. The only thing they could improve is being more welcoming and enjoying explaining about the area and what to visit. I could tell they didn’t really care about it, at least for my experience. Maybe because of a language barrier.

Creta Vitalis was everything we were looking for and more. The owners are absolutely wonderful and the property is amazing with a beautiful pool, great breakfast, wonderful rooms, and the most extraordinary views. My husband son and I loved staying here and we will absolutely be staying here again whenever we come back❤️

Creta Vitalis is a nice, clean hotel with big spacious rooms. Its located close to the beach, has a nice pool and is about 25 minute drive to downtown Chania.

Great location, quick walk to the beach. We had a great view from our room! Breakfast was great, although not complimentary. Staff was so friendly! Not so great things: we were in the main building which is not sound proof at all. To the point where we could hear the person in the room next to us turning their lights on and off. It just so happened to be their little one who clicked it on and off over and over and over again at 6am. The bathroom was a bit different. The shower had no door/curtain and there was a drain in the middle of the bathroom for the shower water. The bathroom was also riddled with mold.

We stayed for two weeks in a beautiful part of the island, not particularly geared for tourist as there were only two places to eat within walking distance of the hotel with children. There were other towns about 30 minutes walk, one not particularly safe walking but the owner of the hotel knows the taverna owner and they came and collected us but were too busy to return us so we walked home in the dark, not too bad as we didn't have the kids. The town the other way is a better walk, but still a 3 mile round trip, with a Taverna called BOURAKIS RESTAURANT, with beautiful food. We hired a car and this enabled us to get to explore further afield. I had read reviews about the friendly nature of the owners and the staff at the hotel, sadly we did not experience this, helpful but not usual Greek friendly. The pool was beautiful, but no pool bar or snacks/drinks available to buy, as advertised, however there is a shop in walking distances and the small fridge in the room, meant cold drinks could be available throughout the day. Hotel was very clean and finished to a high standard. Chania is only 30 minutes away and well worth a visit.

We had a lovely time in Crete exploring the surrounding area, beaches and the harbour city of Chania. The hotel staff were excellent, friendly and very welcoming. The downside was that our bungalow balcony was next to a busy through road and the fridge located in the room we slept in was very noisy. The swimming pool was great and the hotel was convenient to get to local shops and the beach!

The staff was absolutely amazing- very hospitable and helpful. The hotel is in a great location with incredible views in every direction.

Very friendly, helpful owners and very generous. Breakfast was delicious. We shared a night cap of Raki with a nice young gentleman who works there. On our last day the owners allowed us into a room to shower after we checked out and spent the day at the beach.

Owners/staff very helpful and pleasant went out of their way to help. Property very clean with fresh bedding and towels daily. Lovely pleasant pool area plus easy walk to a very nice beach. Bus into Chania 5 minute walk from hotel and 2 local mini markets. I would recommend this hotel and would use again if I go back to Crete, had a great stay there.
