Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Huge bathroom and double king bed which was very comfortable. Good location, right next to a metro station. We stayed over looking the back of the property which must be above a club though. Unfortunately that meant our sleep was heavily disturbed every evening, from 11pm through to 6am. Take earplugs! We wouldn’t stay again due to this as left more tired than we arrived.

Absolutely wonderful hotel and stay! We were taken care of immediately at check in and the hotel is very close to everything!

I stayed at the hotel in early May and paid top dollars compared to other hotels nearby. However during my stay we had power outages two times and there was so much suffocation in the room. This made the visit extremely unpleasant as it triggered my asthma. I would encourage everyone to not stay here and find alternative options as there is no point in paying top price for such disappointing service.

Lovely hotel, great location and breakfast was amazing

Great breakfast, nice common areas, including the pool on the top floor. Friendly staff. However, the room itself was a real disappointment. The windows opened onto a small internal light well and, as a result, the room was dark and felt claustrophobic. Despite bright sunshine outside, we had to keep the lights on all the time. We were offered an alternative but very small. This left us with very mixed feelings. The room was not cheap and it felt poor value.

Everything was fantastic. From the staff at the front desk who were so helpful and polite all the way to the chef at the restaurant who were splendid in their service and quality of food fresh and tasty. I will definitely come back to this hotel and recommend family and friends to stay when visiting Madrid.

Breakfast is complete and the hotel is very good location. Can be noisy some rooms (metro sound) Size of the rooms are good (more that usual in europe) Have a nice bar on the lobby!

Hotel is central, easy to get to places. Room is nice and spacious. We can hear the rumble of the metro from our room on the 5th floor. A bit weird, but we got used to it. Coffee facility in the room is bad... No capsules, just instant nescafe sachets.. In our room, we found only one cafeinated sachet, and one more decaf. If you think you can enjoy the pool facilities, forget it. The pool is small, and have no special times for kids or adults, so with just one or two children in there, the place turned into a water park. Breakfast is ok, a lot of the hot food is cold. Coffee is terrible. Filter coffee tastes horrible, and the alternative is from an automated machine.

Reception not very willing to solve odsues in a satisfactory manner

The hotel is located on Plaza de España with immediate access to the metro and the bus transport system. The hotel is located next to Gran Via, which has multiple free buses. The hotel is beautiful. Our room had a view of the plaza. The room is well planned with two closets for storing belongings. The hotel breakfast was lovely with a large variety of foods. We had massages in the hotel spa and they were fabulous. Our providers were very professional and the massages were top quality. We also use the pool and the sauna and enjoyed both. The pool has a nice view and is a pleasant temperature. We enjoyed a LUXURY experience. There is no shuttle to and from the airport although Expedia states that there is one. For airport transport we took the Metro to the hotel and we took a taxi from the hotel. This was a trip for my birthday and the hotel helped me celebrate with a surprise of balloons, treats, and sparkling wine.

Second time in this hotel within a few months, hotel location is great, staff is friendly and always willing to help. Breakfast buffet is really good with ample selection of food and a staff cook to cook any style eggs or omelettes. Really enjoy my stay in this hotel will return.
