Lovely and modern hotel set in an old stone building. Very central and close to major sites. Great and attentive staff. Breakfast was very good. Open wine bar cart in the lounge/library area was a really nice touch. Hotel itself is a nice place to hang out. I didn’t go to the bar or do any of the wine tastings but wish I had. Stayed 4 nights. Would definitely come back.

We loved the location of the hotel and the reception and housekeeping staff were so pleasant. The restaurant staff were a little slow to take orders and bring drinks. Room was so spacious and clean .

We used to come here twice a year. They recently changed the majority of their staff, and to be honest new staff are rude and un accommodating. They used to have such great staff and the remaining ones that we know by name are holding the hotel together. But as they expand, I feel that this is a hotel we will not be returning to. It’s unfortunate as we probably visited over a dozen times since 2020 and stayed close to 30 nights. Sad we will not be returning after many happy trips to the magnolia but there are so many better boutique hotels nearby that we suggest you try.

It’s unfortunate that their staff has changed from the wonderful team they had before, the rooms are in poor condition and you can see the wear and tear on the facility itself. It seems like they were constantly shortstaffed as well in the restaurant and we tried to get reservations to the new restaurant, but the hotel and the new restaurant are not owned by the same organization so when the hotel said we had a reservation, we innocence didn’t and had to fend for ourselves. We re-booked and they did this to us again so much so that the Chef at the new restaurant felt so bad he purchased us dinner at the hotel owned restaurant . embarrassing when I was hosting in-laws, and ridiculous that the hotel cannot make a reservation or you cannot rely on them to make one. Very disappointed as the previous team would not have dropped the ball like this.

Charming boutique hotel

Magnolia is one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. It’s design is a gorgeous yet unusual mix of modern and traditional. The rooms are very comfortably sized and appointed. The food is excellent. The service is superb. There is nothing not to like about this hotel.

We had a lovely stay. Location was central to sites we enjoyed (we love walking as we explore a city). Close to start of free walking tour, museums (including Naruda’s home) and other fun spots. We also found some great food in the Listarria area. Gelato across street was perfection. The service at the hotel is great (we splurged for a massage as well -ah nice). We really enjoyed food at breakfast and for 3 dinners (roof top setting was beautiful). Everyone was so helpful. The library offers a wonderful spot to unwind. Architecture of building is stunning. Room spacious, clean and comfortable. Nice toiletries (including body lotion!). We slept really well. Very happy I chose to stay here!

the room was clean , it was filled with great staff and they address one problem we had with a extension of our exit to help with air port schedule . Location was good and we loved the experience.

The hotel and the rooms were beautiful and in a great location. I liked that there was always someone at the front desk. I think the open bar in the lobby was a nice touch.

I highly recommend Hotel Magnolia…it is a very special boutique hotel and a new favorite of mine! The style of the hotel is truly unique and beautiful; it maintains much of the architecture of the original mansion built in 1929 and adds a new, innovative, bold, modern design. My room was spacious, elegant and comfortable. The hotel is well located and convenient to many sights and dining options. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful, The only small issue was that there was only one receptionist and no concierge in the mornings during the 3 days of my stay, and that did not seem to be enough to adequately handle arrivals, departures, and other assistance needed by guests. I definitely would like to stay at this hotel again and hope to do so in the future!

Hotel Magnolia is a nice hotel close to the center of the city. The area feels safe. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. They also have a rooftop bar and restaurant.
