The cabins are well maintained, clean, privacy, in the middle of the forest.

This was one of my best stays! The bnb is located a little in the woods which makes for a rustic, cozy feel away from the hustle and bustle. I liked that you barely saw other guests (even though many cars were parked in the car park) or bnb staff - was a private getaway. Price is decent and a car is necessary especially to get to main attractions e.g. Kruger. The jacuzzi and rose petals were everything! Breakfast was unique, for example basil pesto bread and egg tarts on some of the days. Would highly recommend! Only sad we couldn’t stay longer

We loved our stay with Penny at Thulamela. This is a great place to base yourself if you are doing the Panorama Route or heading into Kruger. We stayed for 3 nights and didn't regret a moment. Breakfast on the porch was incredible and we slept better than we had in a long time. Wifi is available only near the reception area, but Penny was so kind as to put a table and chair out for my husband to use when he needed to work. What an incredible host and amazing stay. We highly recommend you stay here when you are in the area.

Thulamela is geared for a relaxing stay, private and quiet.From a spacious log cabin with excellent amenities to the Jacuzzi on the patio. A healthy breakfast is brought to your individual patio at the requested time. An amazing time. Will definitely be back, Thanks Penny for the wonderful hospitality.

Die Einrichtung der Unterkunft ist sauber, aber es ist schon alles etwas älter. Trotzdem funktionsfähig. Das Personal und der Service sind großartig. Das Frühstück ebenso. Der Whirlpool war uns etwas zu warm eingestellt. Insgesamt wurde für eine schöne Atmosphäre gesorgt.

Service is excellent, breakfast delivered to room was great. Well-maintained jacuzzi provided plenty of rest. The only thing that was disturbing the perfect vacation. That was mice. They ran around under the roof and interrupted the quiet rest.
