A delightful hotel. Fabulous location, just a few minutes walk into town and room to park. The Mount Pleasant was spotlessly clean, with a beautiful lounge, and the breakfast was as good as it gets. Friendly and helpful staff, I would be happy to recommend.

The hotel oodles loads of old-fashioned charm. The twin room we had was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast in particular was amazing with table service which made it so much more special. The young girl that served us was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious with lots on offer. It was difficult to choose whether to go for the normal full English, haddock or kippers. In the end, the full English won with a perfectly cooked poached egg. Gardens were stunning and we were lucky with the weather. We definitely recommend Mount Pleasant and would happily return.

The staff were very friendly and courteous, breakfast and dinner was very good. The property also has a lovely relaxing garden.

This is a fantastic property, made all the better by the staff who work hard and do a great job. It feels like a warm and friendly b&b more than a hotel, in a good way. The location is excellent, so close to sw coastal path, bus routes, cinema, beach and so much more. The room was exactly as described, very clean, tidy and exactly what I was looking for. Well done mount pleasant - fabulous!

We had a lovely weekend break at Mount Pleasant Hotel. The hotel was situated in a quiet area only a few minutes walk from Sidmouth beach & shops. Our room was spotlessly clean & comfortable. The dining room & sitting room had views onto the pretty garden in which you could relax on the terrace with a glass of wine. The breakfast & evening meals were also delicious so we would recommend staying there for dinner. We were lucky to have glorious weather for our stay & were perfectly placed to explore the surrounding area. We will definitely be returning to this hotel in the near future.

Great hotel for a great price. Unpretentious, comfortable, clean and a good breath. Near all amenities but quiet. A ten minute stroll through the shopping streets to the sea , close to restaurants, pubs etc. I have stayed in many hotels in Sidmouth over the years, from five stars to none and Mount Pleasant is a good two star which we will certainly plan to use again. Room 15 , twin bedded, on ground floor is smallish but very acceptable. Service was good and very friendly. We liked this hotel a lot

Good, quiet location, 10 minute walk to the seafront. Nice friendly staff. Ample parking. Don't think the rooms on the 2nd floor (in the roof) should be classed as de-luxe rooms - they are not very big, and the en-suite bathroom was small. Breakfast was good. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room and the hotel itself was spotless. The bed was very comfortable. The food (breakfast and evening meals) was delicious and plenty of it. There was a little belly relaxed atmosphere and nothing was too much trouble. We would thoroughly recommend it.
