Ideally situated for visiting the Royal Observatory, National Maritime Museum, Cutty Sark, etc. by way of a pleasant walk across the heath and through Greenwich Park. Also, the hotel is a short bus ride away from the O2 Arena, as well as Blackheath train station within 5 minutes walk, for access to central London. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The buffet breakfast is very good and offers plenty of choice, the evening meals are excellent in a relaxed setting. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. A great place to stay!

Nice clean friendly staff

Nice hotel. Parking seemed fine when I arrived at around 10.15pm, which is a gpod sign. Staff welcoming and room seemed nice. It is a bit of an old fashioned hotel but that wasn't an issue, just not my preferred style. Clean, large room and the free breakfast was very good. Choice of hot and cold buffet with vegetarian options (I'm not vegetarian so recommend the sausages, yum!). You can even take it to your room if you want. Only concern was that the toilet launched water out of it if you flushed with the lid up. Fan on the wall in the room was a blessing and comfortable mattress even though it was springs. £7 uber to Greenwich Uni campus and £12 to o2 arena. Bus stop just outside. Would definitely stay again.

It was a very pleasant stay at a friendly old school hotel with all the basics covered and more. Very convenient location, easy, free and flexible to park and an excellent breakfast included in the stay. You will also enjoy the bar!

Just stayed one night for a venue at O2. Really easy transport with bust right outside hotel. I thought bed was too hard though.

Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very helpful. Overall good experience. The price was good as well I thought for London with the breakfast included. And first come first served parking which saved us £60 at least.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room overlooked the garden and was very peaceful. We slept really well! The hotel is clean and well cared for and the breakfast is EXCELLENT!

Expected a lot more from a hotel that has a reputation of being fancy. Staff ok. Someone was clearly smoking in their room on my floor. Room was very basic and quite old.

Lovely 2 night stay - comfortable room with tea/coffee facilities also a hairdryer & iron available. The breakfast was excellent with continental or full English selection plus kippers to order if preferred. Lovely staff in the dining room & on reception. Would recommend a stay here as it is central to all transport links & beautiful restaurants.

This hotel is perfect, you have Greenwich, and a nice park opposite. Our son lives just behind the hotel, but im so sad to hear its closing down, What a waste turning this lovely hotel into flats ...
