The hotel is located at the northern end of Chaweng Beach, which, while quiet and uncrowded, unfortunately also makes for a less than ideal beach in bad weather. The beach is unfortunately covered in trash and seaweed from the sea. Unfortunately, this situation is very common, and loungers with beach umbrellas like those pictured on the website are never available! The beach is too narrow and dirty there, and completely submerged at high tide.
The hotel staff is very friendly and tries to accommodate all guests' wishes. Nevertheless, the entire complex gave us a "dirty" feeling; despite recent renovations, something old and dusty remained.
The rooms are large, and our terrace on the upper floor was also spacious. The bathroom is unfortunately very dark, as there was only a small window that couldn't be opened and was overgrown with plants outside.
Our toilet was placed in a very inconvenient location, meaning a taller guest wouldn't be able to sit straight on the toilet seat because their legs would touch the wall in front of their noses!... It felt very cramped and really weird to sit so close to the wall with their knees and nose :-).
