Fun place to stay for US travelers looking for a traditional Japanese hotel experience. The hot baths were clean and well-maintained, and the rooftop hot bath was a great outdoor experience. Our room was nice but seemed a bit worn and frayed. We were in a smoking room (last room that was available, so no choice) and everything was a bit musty, but still a very pleasant experience. Would stay here again.

Lovely owner who was super accomodating, chatty and a joy to interact with. Food was sumptuous and the view from the rooftop bath was great :)
