Very hard to find parking, no air conditioner available. Very noisy place. Friendly staff and a clean room although it’s too expensive for what this place offers to guests.

Es una pensión funcional en el segundo piso con ascensor. Habitación con baño cómodo. El único pero... La ventana al abrirla para ventilar, casi se cae hacia adentro, la bisagra no tiene tornillos, puede generar un accidente.

Basic room located right next to the Renfe Ceracanias train station. Served a purpose for one night. Quite pricey for what it was, but all of Bilbao's hotels rooms were more expensive than other places I stayed on my trip,

This is one of the Best. Cleanliness is the most important thing to me, and this place was immaculate. It is two minutes from the train station, and I couldn't hear any train noises. If I ever visit Bilbao again, I will definitely stay in this hotel again.

Pension Don Claudio is a clean and tidy pension. We were happy with our room (though a note, given the heatwave, the rooms are not air conditioned - though all windows have shutters) and, importantly for us, there was free parking at the sports centre opposite. (The availability of the sports centre was a plus because we love swimming). It was also convenient for transport into town - the station is right behind the pension. However, the downside is that the Pension is a little out of town and so I might look for something more central if not needing parking. While local dining options were limited, there was a super little local restaurant offering decent food at a very good price.

Good place to start a Camino Bilbao to Santander week as it is on the Santander side of town. Well priced and clean.

I wasn't feeling well enough to enjoy my stay. Very close to train station and shops. Would have preferred a bedroom with less noise and more light.

Fantastic value for money. Clean, comfortable. It is a hostel but some rooms en suite and not shared. Not close to Bilbao centre, but 2 mins walk from a train station which is 10mins and €1.80 to centre. It is noisy! Street noise and from other guests through the walls, but take ear plugs and enjoy spending the money you save on a hotel, on other things. So good for the price!

Good hotel with easy access to the train station. If you are driving, you will need to park on the street near the hotel.

Simple room that was clean enough, and a good person on reception who made check-in easy. The problem is that the walls are like paper, and the very noisy and nocturnal neighbours kept us awake for most of the night, 2 nights in a row. It was a lousy stay as a result of that. The area itself is fine, with excellent train service into Bilbao on your doorstep, and a good selection of cafes and bars and shops in the immediate vicinity.
