One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff was exceptional and the hotel cut no corners. Everything first class, from the in room coffee, to the robes and wonderful beds. Truly an exceptional property in so many ways.

Hotel Ábaco in Altea was a great boutique hotel to spend my birthday weekend. The staff were all amazing the entire time and really took care to demonstrate outstanding hospitality, full of warmth, care, interest and professionalism. The spa services were delightful, too. [I chose a 90-minute massage and Reiki.] I'd highly recommend Cristina. The beach is a short walk down the main street, and all the eateries, cafes and shops are nearby and oh so charming. The rooms were also each unique and decorated in accordance with the room's theme, which was fun. The bed was extremely comfortable [dare I say too comfortable??] and the bathroom tub/shower combo was enormous and probably the most aesthetically pleasing tub/shower I've ever seen at a hotel. Needless to say, I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Altea.

Lovely boutique hotel, within walking distance of the old town and the seafront. Unfortunately there were no car parking spaces available at the hotel during our stay, however we were directed to a free car park literally 1 minute away, so handy. The hotel was very clean, very modern and the staff very helpful- I would definitely recommend this hotel.

When we arrived we had a very friendly welcome, the team were very warm and helpful. The room was very clean and had all the facilities we needed, although a little smaller than expected. Nevertheless, the room and bed were very comfortable and located back from the beach by @ 150-200m. The hotel itself was very nicely decorated with a small roof terrace. I wouldn’t hesitate booking again.

Beautiful location and property. Private room with Juliette balcony. Lovely location in old town. Parking is a little tricky. They have 4 spots in a garage but you must reserve in advance or street park. We parked on the street nearby without a problem late morning but by evening parking appeared full nearby. You don’t need a car once your there. Walk to beach and train station. Can be breakfast on-site but many local cafes to choose from.

Everything was wonderful. Parking could have been a big issue, I was lucky and found one on the street just a few yards away. The entire area is hilly and may be of a surprise to some. If you're looking for quintessential old world Spain, this is the place to go.

Amazing staff. Amazing room. Appreciate both. Beautiful, conveniently located hotel. Only suggestion would be to make beach towels available to guests without charge.

Beautiful boutique hotel, excellent location for old town and for beach. All staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Sarah, Colin and Lorena. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Delicious breakfasts. Enjoyed cava on the rooftop terrace. We will return.

If you want to stay in the small coastal town of Altea, the Ábaco is a wonderful choice of a hotel. The hotel is located a very short walk from the old town and all of it's great restaurants and shops. The hotel is small and owned by a couple who have created a special place. The building is old and shows cool stone and woodwork, but it's been thoroughly modernized with great amenities. My particular room was very small - the smallest I've had in Spain. But it was very nicely done. Breakfast was good, WiFi was good and the rooftop terrace was delightful. Parking is available about 2 blocks away.

This is an amazing place to stay.It really is my kind of Hotel. It's a family run boutique hotel in the old part of town. It is so tastefully restored and decorated, the attention to detail is quite remarkable. I booked a superior room that was spacious and had everything we wanted for, walk in shower, large bath tub. quality bed and linen, a smart TV super fast WiFi, a coffee machine. The list goes on and you would have to look at the website for a fuller description. Abaco gets rave reviews on Trip Adviser and I agree with the reviewers. Staff could not do any more to help you enjoy your stay. Very highly recommenced.
