We were in a small back room which overlooked a fire escape/staff entrance? A lot of noise until the early hours kept waking us up. Don’t accept room 6

A beautiful hotel in the centre of Cowbridge. Friendly staff, delicious food and a town centre that has some lovely little shops. Don’t hesitate to book a stay!

You might save a few quit somewhere else but I’m never disappointed at the Bear!

Parking was easy, bar and food was good, people were friendly. Breakfast was tasty and friendly service.

A really lovely place to stay. Convenient with car parking to the rear of the hotel. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Stayed in the main hotel this time and the room was really comfortable and quiet. A few stairs to navigate but all worth it. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely hotel/old inn. Excellent shower. Breakfast (over the road) great. Easy parking - although it might be a squeeze if there was a function being held. Look forward to staying again.

Enjoyed 1 night at The Bear Hotel and found it to be extremely welcoming and comfortable. Greeted with a warm smile and a friendly face. Happy to change our room without any fuss or incovenience. Had a good quality meal in the restaurant. Food was tasty and the staff here also happy and efficient. We loved the location and would definitely stay again if in the area. Thank you.

Great for a drink, meal, free parking and as we stayed over for a night, thoroughly enjoyed breakfast at Farthings next morning before a very pleasant stroll down Cowbridge's high street too! Very good overall 😃

Wonderful stay. Excellent hotel and staff. Very friendly. Made to feel very welcome. The restaurant food was excellent too. The room was exceptionally clean, roomy and comfortable. Plenty of parking space at the rear of the hotel. Will definitely return.

Comfy, pleasant stay.

Well stocked bar serving good meals.Very reasonable weekday two course meal.Only strange part was having to go across the road for breakfast.Very quickly offered me a ground floor room when they noticed my difficulty in climbing the stairs.

Good private parking. Rear areas could do with a lick of paint.
