Well stocked bar serving good meals.Very reasonable weekday two course meal.Only strange part was having to go across the road for breakfast.Very quickly offered me a ground floor room when they noticed my difficulty in climbing the stairs.

Good private parking. Rear areas could do with a lick of paint.

Beautiful period building, with a comfortable, relaxed vibe. Spotlessly clean, all the staff are welcoming and helpful. Recommend the Sunday lunch, delicious.

It would be difficult to pick out one aspect of the Bear in Cowbridge as it was all very good. Staff were lovely, food excellent and very good value. We will definitely return!

Nice spacious room with a good bathroom. Found it a little strange to go across the road for breakfast. The breakfast was good though.

Great room, amazing staff

The room was lovely & meal . We stayed for New Year’s Eve . There was no atmosphere no build up to bring the new year in . There was a band upstairs full of youngsters is was crazy they where sick over the toilets floors sinks walk ways glasses smashed everywhere .then started damaging the property it was crazy . We stayed in the restaurant out of the way . Really disappointed wouldn’t stay there again unfortunately .

The room and building is lovely. Staff are all very helpful & the breakfast was delicious. Due to the style of the building it does unfortunately not allow for the quietest of sleeps if you are in the original building.
